Kahina wasn't Jewish! She was a pagan. The first Jewish came in Maghreb when they got expelled from Al Andalus at the reconquista not before.

C AL There were some Berber jewish tribes in Morocco (i don’t know about the rest of the Maghreb) wayyy before the reconquista. That’s why today they’re considered Mizrahi instead of Sefardi. Their DNA is different from the Sefardi Jews that came from the Iberian Peninsula.

The writer of my thriller series implemented a jewish and amazigh (berber) main characters and I never new anything about the berbers! So I looked it up and did research and was amazed about this hidden ancient people! Always thought north africa was enterily arab so I am amazed! never new this

Majority of Tunisian are from Berber descent, but we still have poor knowledge and documentaries like this, and more of all, you want to divide peoples in North Africa by preaching Christianity and make people struggle because of religious beliefs, while the advanced nations are gitting ride of religions and building strong states.

I just had my DNA test done and i’ve 80% Amazigh on me. ( All of Tunisia, Nafusa region North Western Libya Tlemcen and Oran Western Algerian. And the Rif region in Northern Morroco ) What about you ? Do you speak the language !

@Marcus Yenir how right you are ..they indeed did assimilate with the locals as did the Romans before them and the Visigoths and Greeks as well as the Byzantiums and the mid African Tribes..one also has aknowledge that the original amazigh were very much darker in complection like the Tuaregs DNA migratory history of the amazigh people shows that they originally came from east Africa ( Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya). North Africa now is home to a mixture of different ethnicity who through centuries of inter mingling have now become the ONE people of North Africa who share similarities in complection,hair type and features different from that which their ancestors started of as.
