THE AMAKOVE WALA SHOW 1 - Divorce and Separation
Welcome to our First Episode of The Amakove Wala Show. On this episode we delved deeper into the stories on Divorce and Separation
Finding your voice is one of the most exciting parts of this adventure we called life. Amidst obstacles and pain, Amakove Wala found her voice in writing and with every post on Facebook, others have found theirs too.
The Amakove Wala Show seeks to open up a space for honest conversations on social matters to encourage, uplift, cheer and celebrate those who have defied societal pressures to become the truest versions of themselves.

This conversation is mind blowing,I am a sign language interpreter, how about you engage me for the person who can't hear?
Dr Amakove, just like Dr. Zippy, you ladies are unapologetically beautiful and, by all means, inspirational stories. Your panelists are great and inspirational in their own rights. Dr Amakove and Dr Zippy okoth are two strong personalities that a weak man who feels intimidated can handle. I affirm the two of you. Maybe to let us appreciate that not all of us were meant to marry or be married. Secondly, divorce and / or separation have a cause-effect relationship. Next time, may your show bring out the two ends clearly otherwise discussing effects or symptoms alone cannot cure relationship challenges.
This has been amazing i would say.But i wouldve loved to hear from people who were not just the victims but the reason for their divorce. From this interview, everyone has been the victim of their ex partners, what about those who are the cause of the divorce? It wouldve been great if we had pple who talked about the things that they did to their partner that led to the separation.Or rather,it wouldve been great if the panelists mentioned the role they played in the ending of their marriage.Amazing show

@@mrsauslanderI agree with you. A narc will never ever see anything positive in their partner so you will always be problem. In the divorce and separation program I attended we were asked to take an inventory on how we contributed to the separation and divorce. I came up with nothing.....I did everything he wanted me to do and it wasn't enough.....

Oluoch amepigwa character development kweli. His opinions are very authentic and realistic.
Im here smiling at charitys naration!
The show is good. Would love to see a more structured approach where the host leads the conversation by talking about a specific theme then throwing it to the panelists then the expert, so that more ground is covered. E.g starting with reasons for divorce (unless that is personal and private), how long they were married, remedies they tried, what worked, what failed, support systems, myths and misconceptions, societal views of divorce. I think that way it's more orderly, more ground is covered per their stories and the host is more in control of the conversation. My take. Otherwise entertaining and educative.
This is a wonderful show where people are now talking openly about issues that go wrong in a marriage. This is something premarital counselling does not address. I am of the generation who were made to understand that marriage ni kuvumiluana, and did this in auto pilot mode for 19 years. It's only when my mom asked me some difficult questions that I realised that I shouldn’t have held on. My divorce and separation session made me realise that I was married to a narcissist. I innocently did not know much about narcissism. There is something I recently learned that I believe be really helpful, this is pre relationship counselling.....
Please bring Charity back as a segment on its own. We have a lot to learn from her and the short snippet didn't do justice to her awesomeness ❤❤❤

Congrats Dr Walla and team. This show is very timely, relevant and captivating.
Very informative, but I found it quite 'talky' perhaps audience involvement through questions could segment it better? Just my observation. I am your ardent follower.
