The Alternative Battle :

The British knew that the Bismarck was badly damaged by previous engagements and had the opportunity to destroy the Hood's killer to finally avenge the HMS Hood.

After the Battle, the Bismarck is in a full silent but still burning. and the U-boats continue protecting the Battleship until more German ships arrive to escort Bismarck to the German occupied France in the port of St. Nazaire for repairs.
In the Conclusion, if the Bismarck was saved by reinforcements back then, this would be a Bad situation for Britain and allies upon the effort on convoys to supply the Allies in Europe. and once the Bismarck was repaired, she would be even more stronger than ever, and continue on to Hunt and destroy the Allied Convoys in the Atlantic. and Therefore, Hitler's navy is unstoppable.
