The Almond Man. Extreme Almond Farming

Ойын-сауық

Join me in California where I visit one of the largest almond growers in Merced, California. From the ground to the processing- Russell Harris makes a name for himself- The Almond man. Learn how almond trees are planted, cared for, and harvested and finally sent to you. It's an Almond of a time. God Bless and hope you enjoy.

Nice! This was one of my first few episodes years back when I started my show. It was so crazy to see the whole process on a mass scale. I think having one in your backyard is a great idea seeing the condition of the world! Send me some when they are ready! 🤣

I have read that these Almond tree farms consume large amounts of water and are draining the water table in a state that is constantly challenged by drought. Any truth to this? Thanks.

Yes, they use a large amount of water. They are NOT the reason the media and the Left like to use as a way to Demonize farming. The Biggest WASTE of water here in CA is the Massive amounts that are sent down stream to flow into the ocean "supporting" Non existent fish in the Delta. If that water was transfered too the cities & farms, there would be No "drought" here. It Isn't a water shortage. it's a Mismanagement of the water that is the problem. But try telling that too the Gumps...

Wanted to ask if you would be interested taking pollination into your own hands, saving on overhead and make extra money by offering pollination to your local farmers???? If interested feel free to contact me.
