Turbo swop doesn't look bad as well plenty of space

Should have closed the hood for both runs as we all drive with our hood closed obviously. Opening up the hood gives the filter pods more of an air source.

MST Intakes are the way to go! So content with mine in my 2er 👌

So about ~12hp with the MST intake and about ~14hp with the PSI midpipe.. This is looking like the two items I need to ask from Santa this year😃🎅🏿🎄

How much did it gain with a proper Tune to suit new intake tho hard to tell, As a proper ECU retune removing all the emissions tuning will probably net more power than just the intake install.

Is there any problem with back pressure if I just install the intake on the G80? Or do I have to do the ecu setup and re-adjust the back pressure? my G80 is equipped with an M performance exhaust. Is it okay to replace the intake without any settings?

I am so confused nowadays with modern cars. Many tuning shop told me no matter what you do with intake (high flow intake), ECU will compensate input value anyways. Meaning that these type of mods will not gain any extra HP. And then you prove it with significant amount of HP gain without any mapping. I am totally confused.

try closing the hood for the dyno runs bro. Otherwise, you negate heat soak, and all of the metrics about airflow on open intakes.

did you run the dyno with the hood closed? its not really a true CAI? at $58.25 per HP, its not a great value. Even then, hood should be closed as it will draw in hot air when driving daily.

470ft/lbs, thats cca 640Nm, at the wheels, damn. Americans use that measurement instead of Nm.
