The all new Limitless Tailgate Step - ute or pickup tailgate step
The Limitless Tailgate Step is a unique new product specifically designed and manufactured here in Australia for Australian conditions. The compact step sits on the inside of the ute's tailgate, quickly and easily deploy it with one hand to easily step into the back of your ute. Closing it up is just as quick and easy. You can even set it in the 1/2 position and use it as a load stop to extend the length of your tray!!

Well built guy kinda struggled one handed lifting this. What is the effective weight that will need to be lifted when in use?
10 days after ordering mine it arrived to my home in TEXAS last night. I installed it this morning. I am pleased with this product overall. The only issue I will need to watch is the lifting handle (passenger side) as it arrived bent inwards. The material used to manufacture this handle part should probably be beefed up a bit as I was able to bend it back into shape with one hand. Other than that I am looking forwards to years of use

@KelMaster Construction Hi I just installed on on my 2016 F-150 today. Send me your email and i can share pictures with you. FYI. When closed the step is 1-1/2" thick. And as you mentioned in your question these steps are NOT designed for the US trucks with wider tailgates then the ones in Australia. I centered my step and have 8" on each side of the step. If you lower the tailgate and step you will have all the room your accustomed to for shoveling dirt / rocks etc.

Have you found another step coming close to this steps wide step and thin profile when its closed? I looked and looked for a wide step platform but found this one by mistake actually on KZread. I agree with you. The price is high.

For a $1000 I can probably buy a new tailgate with the step already built into it from ford. But this is a nice try
