Watched The Alienist for Daniel Brühl, he's a magnificent actor and such eye candy. So glad I did, I loved the show!

I love Dakota, she is such a great actress! Daniel is so adorable and Luke is the most charming man on the planet (his John Moore was my favorite character)!!! Great Cast! can't wait to see more of them!!

Dakota is such a pro. It shows that she has been acting and doing press since she was a child. She was very good at pivoting to the positive no matter what question was asked. Impressive.

This show is one of those best shows that always needs to be renewed. I wish they'll not give up on this amazing show

The Alienist is so great. I hope we get a season 2, of the second book.

I LOVED The Alienist! I thought it was a very riveting series with so many twists & turns. I hope there will be a season two. All the actors were fantastic as their characters. I thought Luke Evans was brilliant as John Moore.

I still think of Dakota as the really young girl from Man On Fire with Denzel. I love that movie. She is a great actor

Aim in love with the show #alienist I can't tell you how often I watched it on Netflix. For sure over 8 times...and I will watch it again.

I need Season 3!!!!

I loved this series. Great period piece with a complicated and sometimes difficult (to watch) plot. I'm a great admirer of Daniel Bruhl in _Anything_ he's in. (additionally, I'm always impressed by anyone who can speak multiple languages - his Hungarian pronunciation was spot on). Luke Evans was great in this character. The surprise for me was Dakota Fanning. She was fantastic playing such a strong role. I'm so glad to see she was able to make the transition from 'child actor' to an adult to be taken seriously. I binged the whole series last week. I'm hopeful there will be another season! ~Congratulations to cast and crew. I don't know who they were up against in the Emmy's that year, but a shame they didn't win for any performances.

Good series! It's like True Detective season 1. Luke Evans' character took a little while to develop tbh.. Dakota was amazing from the beginning~ Also Connor, Roosevelt, Stevie, Joseph were amazing side characters. Same goes for the Isaacsons bothers

now I want to see Daniel playng the french horn.

This show is very entertaining but not only that it is dark and it shows us not only the way the world was back at the time. It also shows us the dark time of today how much difference is there really in the big picture of things there is still the High Society and secret societies of the ridge. And then there are the poor and homeless and also the mental illness and frustration of those that are mentally ill and also the ones that are there families that feel there is no help for their loved one. This show is a very important show to me is not a show it is seeing the way things were and it's time era and the Darkness and as the cast has expressed the dirt and death of those that have no hope. I hope that this will be a project that is not just two seasons but many seasons because it can help with what's happening today also if people really look and see that there's not much difference and try to change what we not accomplished even today in 2020 that says a lot. Thank you for the hard work of everyone in this project and I hope the audience will get to see a lot more of it. Renee Delk Washington State

Book was better.

well it's not that weird to see a female leading character since that's all netflix is doing these days

I like aspects of the series, but like everything on Netflix there is this woke theme that runs through it, sublime indoctrination, which spoils it somewhat.

Daniel Bruhn is the reason I don't watch The Alienist anymore. He bores me to death
