I would have that over any modern supercar. I hope i can get hold of a 105 series Alfa before they get to expensive.

Wish I still had the South African GT Jr I parted out. Should've restored it. A wish list car would be an Alfaholics GTA with 3.0 Busso engine/transaxle. Relatively mild tune, basically stock would be plenty of power, weight distribution and unsprung weight of rear axle would be improved greatly.

I have the Busso 2.5 V6 and relative to the Nord it's a heavy lump. Transaxle idea is great though- do you know how much the box weighs in at? The 105 comes in at about the tonne, so even small shifts in weight affects handling- an 80kg passenger for instance.

@@garethmcrae668 I've had two transaxle Alfas, an Alfetta GT 2.0 and that sedan who's name escapes me at the time, that was my last Alfa, the end of an era that started in 1967 with a '64 101 Sprint Normale. I doubt the transaxle weighs much more than the front transmission minus the differential. The transaxle cars handled very well, very balanced. But it's just a dream.

These cars are just superb, one of those " jeez i wish I'd never sold her" cars. I had a 2ltr Bertone style GTV yes ago. It was so ahead of its time - 5 sad etc - even a rev counter. Still miss her greatly - as well as my GT Junior and various 'Suds. I'd be a mega millionaire etc -but I'd sooner have the cars back. Please.

Why do you talk, write and are making movies titeld GTA ... Aou are not driving a GTA, your car is fare away from a GTA. I dont mind if you are tunig an alfa with an oversicece engine with 2.3 liters, 240 hp. But dont call this car an GTA. I'm been racing the historic european championship for touring cars on a GTA 1965. I will not discuss the way as you are driving in regulare traffic, its your way to express your self. Only one thing, it do not help to change the door handle from a GTA on an other Alfa car with e metal body.

The car is sold as a full conversion by Alfaholics as a GTA-R It doesnt really matter if you like it or not, thats a fact. Oh and im sure the guys at Altaholics would love your genuine car, but i have no doubt they know more about these 105 series Alfas than just about anyone else in the world

It weighs 830kg's. That is pretty 'alleggerita' to me. It may not have an aluminium riveted roof and the titanium bits on the engine but it's got titanium wishbones ffs! Perhaps 'GTA' is too hallowed a suffix to be applied to a modern iteration but nobody is claiming it's original and they do call it the 'GTA-R' after all. Rejoice in it- your authentic £⅓ million icon is safe!
