The air is fresh and the bridges are NARROW | BC Bike Race 2019 - Day 4
Спорт
After a lot of road rage in day 3 of the race, I decide to take it down a notch and enjoy day 4. Today's stage was a lot more XC than the previous days, with only one memorable downhill section.
But that's OK, I felt like this was the perfect way to set myself up for the rest of the stages.
Extended race videos are up on / bkxc
🤘Thanks to BMC for lending me the Agonist 01 and helping with financial support!

I just want to take a moment and give credit to the people who did the trail marking in Powell River. Death Rattle looked like a airport landing strip. Also, it gives me the warm and fuzzies seeing so many people out supporting the riders. So awesome.

love it when you bike past a bagpipe and it gets progressively out of tune
I agree with you Brian, I will always let people pass if I sense they are there. I'm not in it to win, it's always about enjoying the ride for me! Keep up the great riding!
I have to commend you for your spirit and sense humor, Brian. It's the way to go if we want to survive in our struggles and remain in one piece. Thanks for reminding us and again, thanks for bringing us along.

We are from Northern California that’s hot to us. The hottest it gets is about 90 degree F. And that’s not often or for long
Absolutely loving this series! That BMC looks awesome too.
damn....the support from the people out in trails, so refreshing. lol, 21 degrees is cold from where I'm from. much support here from the Phillippines!
The trees at 11:30 are quaking aspen. Even in a gentle wind the leaves will shake.

Amazing forests, Incredible riding from Squamish to Powell River, great holiday but I.m a 1000 km and two ferry rides away now. Good vids

I’ve bin to that exact same beach before with my grandma. And normally I would be down there at this time of year but we didn’t make it this year
Looks awesome. Cant wait to enter a comp
Lovely terrain 👍
fantastic!
i have my Wahoo ELMNT on my bars every ride, i've noticed the same elevation issue! though when it gets put into strava its all fixed and accurate.
Loved the last few series. Great job on this grueling race. could you do a video on what and how you pack for international trips? Not your bike, but all your riding gear, helmets etc? Trying to work out how i’m going to bring my kit on a trip next month... help appreciated! 😜

Shogun is a fantastic book!
I love how you say "only 1000m of climbing" :D Early last week I did my first ever ride with more than 1000m i was completely dead lol 34km 1329m of climbing and it took ages, good memories tho

Very good video bro I'm from India and I watched all your videos love you bhaijaan Eid Mubarak
What beautiful scenery, for me that would be distracting.
You know you're multiple days into BCBR when you say "I think we're /only/ climbing 1000m / 3000ft today...". Just a casual vertical kilometer...
I hope i can go to BC soon. It looks so fun

Brian super video 👍 🇸🇰
I kept expecting an Ewok to poke his head out from around a tree. That looked so cool. The colors of the dirt, fallen trees, and greenery made it almost look fake. It looked a lot more tame, and that you got to enjoy it a little more this stage. Of course that meant you let Paul get out front, but the spoiler on Syd and Macky's channel already foretold the future. :-) It looks like no matter what, you guys are there having fun and not taking it too seriously. How can you take it too seriously when someone did that in under 1.5 hours??? (Shocked face)

@@bkxc I was wondering if you had any other merch as I can only see 3 product on your site. I thought you had some stickers and stuff or do I need to be a patron to get the stickers ? Also do you ship to the UK ?
I think that it is really awesome that volunteers are posted throughout the trail to ring bells, blow horns and yell encouragement!! Do you ever find that offputting?

Great video! I wouldn't be bothered naming the trees. Too many of them for that and you can't call them all Frank or Tim!
Okay Brian give it the beans!! LOL!
Those bridges look so scary with the handlebar height railings

Nice video
When it comes to naming trees you can't go wrong with George. Trees like George.
Seaplane!? seaplane!? nice!
I would definitely get angry with the road rage after listening to it for days. I'd only be able to control my temper so much. I'd just be out there to enjoy the ride!
4:14 my boy was like fuck that, gotta take a leak!
Good,good,good 👍👍👍
i use the exact same grips and i lost the end cap clipping a tree also, they don't stay in very tightly i found
nice trails.
