I am only half way through the video, but I am pretty sure the magpie was not working because you did not save 1 gold at the end of turn to spend. They should have worded it like the trex. End turn if you have 1 gold save it for next turn. That might actually be a good combo trex/magpi save gold get stats and then get to spend the gold next turn.

The way Magpie works is that if you leave 1 gold in this round, in the next one you end up with 1 more gold. Kind of like Puppy or T-Rex, but instead simply leaves gold for the next round. Pretty much a 'piggy bank' type of deal. And yeah, the new pack looks fun, but I still say that the game needs more game modes, to keep the players really around.

Just so you don't have this issue in future videos, Macaque is pronounced "ma-KAK" (emphasis on the second syllable). Great video! Keep it up! Love your content!

The bear is absolutely the most broken pet in this new pack, especially since scaling units to be beefy is extremely difficult. Bear with the wolf ability is absolutely devastating, those 3 pigs are no slouch either

Okay, my advice from my time playing the pack. 1. Magpie only works if you end with extra money (it’s for gazelle builds) 2. Trumpets are op and max out at 50 trumpets 3. Goose is invulnerable if they deal: 1 damage at level 1/ 3 damage at level 2/? damage at level 3. 4. Bulldog looks better than it is, it doesn’t work in mid game because it doesn’t have consistently high damage. 5. African penguin, oyster, sea lion, Betta fish, and surgeon fish are cracked

Each new pack they add they keep running out of basic rules and need to add stuff like the opossum, sell > give stats to a RANDOM pet with FAINT ability in the SHOP. That’s 3 conditions and gets super confusing. The early SAP thrived off its simplicity, they’re just adding stuff to add stuff it feels like

@@SuperAutoGaming Why? 1 gold in higher tiers is always more valuable than in tier 1, so you just store until the odd turn that you are going to sell it and you get a bit extra of gold, it is not amazing, but it is quite nice

Seems like they made the game more forgiving with the life system, making it easier to get to 10 wins. As far as keeping new players interested goes, it’s probably a good change. Winning feels good 👍

​@@SuperAutoGaming Maybe it'll just take some getting used to, but I think there may be issues with it in other packs with more scaling, or golden pack too once the ghosts are gone and people get a better feel for the pack. If games go even just a few turns longer I think a lot more teams will just be crazy strong 50/50 teams, which i don't think is as fun or interesting to win with or lose to. The scale of the teams I win (or lose) with usually around turn 13 or 14 feels pretty good and balanced to me as it is now, but if games go to say turn 18 or 19 more consistently I'm not convinced that will actually be a good thing. Will also mean games will physically take more time which isn't super significant but I also like the spot that the game is at already for that too.
