Even though Anzio lost, they show good hospitality by inviting the winning team to eat with them. Win or lose Anzio is an awesome school for that.

I like how the Anzio and Ooari girls celebrated the match together with an Italian style banquet and how Anchovy and Miho seemed happy interacting with each other, it's a nice change from the manga. Still, Anchovy shouldn't think that her girls didn't put their full effort into the match, they did the best they possibly could with the iffy designed vehicles they had even if Pepperoni messed up by deploying ALL the decoys which allowed Oarai to figure out their plan of attack.

In the case of Pepperoni, the team put a little *too* much effort into the match XD I think Anchovy was more referring to tankery in general, I mean the whole reason why Anzio has pretty much *only* CV-33s is because of the students' and tankery team's passion for food over everything else...Anchovy seems to be the only one who's actually really serious about tankery, and maybe Pepperoni and Carpaccio seeing as they're Anchovy's sub commanders, everyone else just seems to care about the food :P

This is why I love the show. Camaraderie between friend and foe. Don't you wish the real world played by this rule?

Saunders uses food as an icebreaker. 🇺🇸 Anzio uses food to celebrate a hard days work. 🇮🇹 St Gloriana uses food as a threat. 🇬🇧 😁

i love how anzio tries to trick Ooarai in stead of just havinf more tanks, also love the Hippo team bits too

American school teams: "We have room in our budget to afford uniforms or rent a bus, but not both." Anchovy: "LETS PLAY WITH TANKS AND FEED TWO ENTIRE SCHOOLS PER MATCH."

what I love from this anime is his overall message "play fair, be respectful with your opponent and when the match over we can let our diference behind, congratulate the winner and being friends... sports are not wars"

I mean , there is a spin-off , called Ribbon Army , which is some pseudo-sequel as we follow a new cast in a new school that follows a subsection of senshado that only uses ligh tanks and , if I remember correctly , medium tanks at most. Ooarai appears , but as some bosslevel adversary for this new cast to surpass , and there is Anzio , which is kinda pretty skilled to that subsection.
