Tell me about it. This song is incredible. It's great that there are some bands still out there that can pull off the 80's rock style. Damn, what a song.

As with most Afghan Whigs stuff you should give it 3 listens before voicing an opinion on the song. Dulli is the greatest musical artist to come out of the 90's.

Love from Algiers , Algeria .great song thank you ♡♡♡♡♡
I think I caught Covid at the Afghan Whigs concert this past Tuesday but it was worth it. They sound so great live
this is why afghan whigs is one of my favorite bands, 16 years after their last album they come back with the same vibe and appeal but doing new stuff
Dulli's voice hasn't lost a thing. Still great as ever.
This is music that you listen to as you look at a blood-red sunset on a black horse and turn to wave goodbye to your lover, because you're an outlaw, and an outlaw has to be alone. And as you cry silent tears you wave a gentle wave, and then ride into the unknown desert that's ahead as you try to comfort yourself by remembering that you didn't choose this life, it chose you.

I can’t even explain how much I love this song. It just has something so unique. And of course, it reminds me of that episode of Ray Donovan.
My hero, Ray Donovan. What a mother fuckin awesome family. Great series. Best since The Sopranos.
Whoever the music director is for Ray Donovan is amazing, they deserve an award. I've heard so much awesome music from that show. This song is hauntingly beautiful❤

Check out Morrisey. He's from the 80s. Music is like fashion. It always comes back around
I dont know why but this song runs through my mind at least once a week....I'm obsessed.
This music video is fully based on "High Plains Drifter" a western movie with Clint Eastwood from the 70s! Great music! Great Video! Great Band!
this song is fucking incredible. FUCKING INCREDIBLE god damn it.
This is one of those magical songs that does what you want it to do and goes where you want it to go, all before you realize it.
I must say: Thank you Ray Donovan....the song is so good!!!!!!
Thanks Ray Donovan for bringing me here
Ray Donovan thank you....and love the high plains drifter connection
Ray Donovan brought me here. Good fkn tune!
Greg's voice is bone chilling. Love the Whigs
Very few things excite me. This excites me. A lot. I don't care what the video is. I'm a musician, I make, love, and listen to music. This is solid.
Did anyone else Shazam the shit out of the closing credits to Ray Donovan this week? :D

RAY DONOVAN, FOREVER !!!❤️
Excellent song. Dulli's voice is aging and sounds better than the 90s.
This line amazes me,"Dream..dream your sins away, sin your dreams awaaay...still holdin back!"
This song really grows on you, like a lot of 1965 I didn't really like it at first but then I needed to hear it again. The Whigs always amaze me.

The amount of talent this man has is astounding, its a damn shame that nobody knows who he is.
Me too :) ! Was watching Ray Donovan. Awesome song! Never heard this band before. Gonna check them out from now on!
I can't get enough of this song... just been listening on repeat the last 24 hours since released... Magnificent. Can not WAIT to hear the rest of D2TB.
My life is never complete without a bit of Dulli/Whigs intertwined into it. Great to have you back.

Heard this on Ray Donovan "Snowflake" episode. Great tune, Really good band. It's great to discover new music always.
I haven't listened to these guys in years. just felt the urge. this song shows off some of their influences, like Roy orbison and the church.
This song is way too perfect

It's artistic license, though there is an Algiers, IN. The US borrowed lots of city names from other countries as people were settling further west. There's a Paris, KY, and Rome, NY, and Alexandria, VA - you get the picture.

Love Ray and this Song!
Love this song so much!!
I was so surprised when this awesome song featured in Ray Donovan. Great way to end the show.
He's the best. So untreated. Thank God. We get more to ourselves.
awesome! (from turkey)
Music video inspired by a Clint Eastwood movie 'High Plains Drifter' (1973), in which a sheriff of a town called Lago gets whipped by a gang of gunslingers and outlaws hitting him with cattle whips, and he goes back as an avenging spirit and teaches them and the citizens who just stood by while he was whipped to death a lesson... And he tells the citizens to paint all buildings red and renames the town 'HELL' before the final showdown.
Top ten songs of the past ten years. This is there.
The more I listen to this song, the more I like it. It is beautiful.
Pre-ordered the vinyl, listened to this 3x on repeat and am officially excited!
This one in a million song deserves so much better than this video
new album from Afghan Whigs!! I'm so happy, can't wait to hear it!
Magic - the whole album is timeless music ...!
The song is so great at about 2:40 - I get the chills. Thanks Greg.
I've always heard and loved Afghan Whigs...they've always played the soundtrack of my life...
Ray Donovan 😊 thank you
The video is lifted straight from one of the greatest westerns of all time - "High Plains Drifter"
Never heard of these guys before, grew up in the 90s, how did I miss them... Heard this on Sirius yesterday, been on repeat since.

Hypothesis: Great Song inspired by Great Person ... and who s The one behind it all?
Loved this from the first minute of listening. [though you're point is true in many instances. such are the nuances, etc] Thanks Afghan Whigs. Good to have you back.
This song is sad and beautiful. Love it
2:38 and on is some of the most beautiful vocals I've ever ever heard.
Guitarist Dave Rosser was a good friend of mine in high school. God rest his soul.
Love Afghan Whigs and this song is still amazing after these few years
Ray Donovan🤔 DIDN'T send me. I've been listening🎧 since the beginning.🎤💖
Getting a band back together to record new music can be dicey business. Like Guided By Voices, its nice to see the Whigs reuniting with something legitimate to say...what a great tune.
Ray Donavan brought me here too..great show...awesome tune
Really greatest song...Thank you Ray Donovan...
YAAAAY!!!! Want this vinyl...Excited...pressing play again...
Fantastic song! Fantastic band! Can't wait until 15 april for this GREAT band! Great to have you back, I'm waiting from 1998...
what a amazing fucking song this is. Did RAY DONOVAN bring anyone else here?
It is so good to see these guys back again...
Happy for John Curley he is a class act.
So glad to have these guys back on the scene after all this time; not content to rest on their laurels, but with a renewed vigor and sense of purpose that continues to define what these legends are made of and where they are going. Actually, Dulli never left the scene, he just comes out of hiding every once in a while to remind us who he is and why he gets better with age.
Ray Donovan also brought me here, Song ROCKS, show ROCKS!
Glad to see the WHIGS back!!! They will always be different!
Great song, even better than the old songs. The magic is back!!
A strong striker strummer and singer songwriter isn't a song without poetry in motion.. A fine example of a song sung.
I love everything about this song.
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.....Love the imagery of this video....Afghan Whigs are back, baby!!!
Faith, the diamond in the chain Still I was a slave Waiting to be saved Dream The body sleeps, but I Am not too proud to roll On the back streets It's oh so simple when you know You'll know this when it's time to go Stray Soon you'll leave behind The lonely past you've sold Paradise Scream The body leaves the bone To sit upon the throne The battle waged for life Dream Dream your sins away Sing your dreams away Your holding back Stop holding back a chain Say you love me tonight Save your love for me tonight And I feel you now I lie awake and love drunk I feel you now Heavenly demons outside my window Sent here to see my outside this world I call the shadow, you call the season That salted wound
Ca ganda música.
Great song! Love The Afghan Whigs!!
Goodbye Dave you were great, one of the greats.
