The AEW Blacklist

Спорт

AEW has existed for just under 4 years, and in their short history, various wrestlers have come and gone from the company. In some cases we’ll see wrestlers return to the company, but in other occasions there are wrestlers who WILL NEVER RETURN to AEW… and sometimes there’s reasons behind why. Today we’re going to be talking about wrestlers who are banned from AEW.

I thought his TNA gimmick was that new age hippy thing, where he wore the white robe and sandals to the ring before his matches. I’ve also never heard that the conspiracy theories had to do with his time in TNA. He was released in February of 2012, which predated the Highspots shoot that set off the whole domino effect by a year. The particulars of the TNA thing and the shoot are mostly irrelevant now, since he’s apparently back in some capacity with WWE as a producer roughly a year after the AEW situation. Clearly he wasn’t too harmed.

First t's not bad Brian Kendrick is banned in AEW, because he's actually making proof that he's a damn tough wrestler instead only an entertainer and you can find actual matches with him here on KZread. Second: "Brian Kendrick has not been involved in wrestling since..." What? Don't talk bullshit. He's since then much better booked as ever before and like i said...he's surprising tough. I especially point out his matches for Circle 6 and this year for BCW (unbelievable fantastic matches against Rich Swann and John Morrison and a must watch). His matches against Jimmy Lloyd and Jake Christ and Facade are also top notch matches. If you missed it watch it, because this is really good wrestling and Brian Kendrick still is one of the best wrestlers of his generation. EDIT: Proof you can find on Cagematch.

That’s far different than the Briscoes handled it. Jay said he would sho*t anyone who told his kids being gay was okay. I’m a gay man. That hurt to hear. But Jay did the work, came to terms with his Old Testament beliefs and came out with a better understanding of people and his own faith. It’s sad Jay didn’t get acknowledge and the work he did didn’t get acknowledge until after he died. Brian Kendrick said far far worse, and apologized via tweet, and denied he ever even held the beliefs. It’s a different story entirely. Jay is an example of “cancel culture” going too far and holding people down after they actually make an effort to better themselves. Brian Kendrick is an example of a person making excuses for their own bad behavior.

Here's my 2 cents on Jimmy Havoc, and to an extent, Speaking Out, as a whole: As a wrestler, I think he was great. He was perfectly capable of cutting good promos, played well into his gothic psycho cannibal deathmatch wrestler gimmick and he was a great heel. Now as a human being, given the allegations brought against him, in my opinion, he is most likely guilty of his actions for 2 reasons. 1) Havoc admitted that he was dealing with substance abuse which most likely factored into the allegations, and 2) even after completing rehab, getting released from AEW, leaving the business AND getting a job for DPD (a delivery service company here in the UK), Havoc HAS NOT ONCE responded to any of this. No comments confirming or denying the allegations. He just stayed silent and quit, which is VERY telling. I think in his DPD photo, he's wearing some sort of electronic tag around his neck? I'm not sure what that is exactly but it could be that or just something else entirely. I did have a conversation with one other person about this and they said Havoc was more or less innocent and quit on his own terms to take some of the heat off himself. Now while I'm not defending Havoc's actions, there are 2 sides to each story. Maybe Havoc really is innocent? Maybe he is fully guilty? After all, I would not put it past some jealous exes to see this movement in full-effect around that time, dredge up some old problems their partner had or make up a story full of abuse just to get one up on them.... it unfortunately happens from time to time. Make of that what you will. Now that ties into my thoughts about Speaking Out as a whole. I, personally, categorise it into 4 parts: 1) Those who have fully admitted to their crimes (Jack Gallagher, El Ligero, Travis Banks etc.) 2) Those who were falsely accused and evidence supported the fact that the accuser was lying (Austin Theory etc.) 3) Those who were accused, were investigated upon but nothing came of it and everyone just moved on (Jordan Devlin, Scotty Davis etc.) 3) Those who were accused but the absolute truth of their allegations lie somewhere in the middle and we may never know the FULL extent of what went down without solid evidence, even if they admitted to it or denied it or whatever the case may be (Marty Scurll, Jimmy Havoc etc.) I know it sounds like I'm playing devil's advocate (believe me, I'm not) but I'm just trying to put the whole thing in retrospect. In some Speaking Out cases (90% were literally just allegations with no proof to back up the claims and other 10% were all 4 parts I mentioned above), we may never know what fully happened between both parties and without solid evidence, these people are free and are able to still work in the business, for better or worse. Devlin just got called up to RAW, Travis is still working in Mexico (even AAA booked him) and Marty is still working the small indies promotions around the USA and Europe.

Regardless of the controversy, I hope the best for Jimmy Havoc, was a big fan for a long time, and continue to hope for an eventual return free from his vices and baggage.

Kendrick yes. He made comments while high that he apologised for. But Jimmy havoc no. Didn't know who he was until he got exposed at first, I thought they said Jimmy jacobs. But then they said British. I was like can't be him.

I love when “wannabe” wrestling researchers or journalists like this “Top10” channel grab literally the lowest hanging fruit in a desperate attempt for views. I was a friend of Jimmy from around 2016 onwards and I can tell you - you owe it to yourself, to your audience and to the world to present the entire truth and not just the headlines. 90% of the “speaking out movement” was a shit slinging match between male and female wrestlers who’d either been in toxic relationships or who had disgruntled ex partners. The post relating to Jimmy when read was just a sad monologue about clearly an insanely toxic relationship that had done a lot of damage to both sides with NONE of the major allegations ever being quantified.

Always baffles me that AEW is like a woke and "open minded" company and then when someone spreads views from years ago they say there is "no room for those views" as if there isn't room for someone who thinks a certain way
