I agree!

Tethered Orbs: Video is wrong on this one and the audio cuts out. Nobody should be eating the orb they are tethered to. Rather, your party should eat it for you as it does less damage to them.

***** I agree if your teammate does not have a full health eat for them if you have a full one, vice versa. There really is no right or wrong way to do it. Usually our tank eat a couple of it for the team. I usually take one for the healer as a Bard. We like to keep them at full health since if they die the whole raid is pretty much over.

destroy the ice orb first, is easier for the healer to dealt with even the fire orb get absorb since it only give 1 suppresion stack

Whole group wiped half way through last boss but me (PLD). I killed him. by myself. from half health. my butt is permanently clenched now I think

"Day 1 players" are legit worse than vegans for inserting the fact that they're day 1 players into literally any other sentence. What does that have to do with the video?

First boss also does a rather large AOE between when the turrets are spawning that can be avoided by running behind the boss its hard to see sometimes.

Awesome vid! Wish other FF youtubers would get the message that less is more! :)

The final boss fight has changed since video was made. The 2nd phase has an attack I can't seem to get out of and die immediately, healing doesn't help.

Is it just me or did a length of your voice audio got snipped near the end explaining the orbs, or was that intentional? Lol I like your visual guides! Keep it up!

6.3 changed the final fight for this- the first phase now consists of both ascians at the same time, and using both Fire and Ice orbs at the same time. It’s a fair bit harder but I believe the second phase is the same

The second phase changed considerably, too. Universal Manipulation no longer has you escape into a prison sphere. Instead, it applies a variety of debuffs that will fire off different attacks when they expire, in a manner similar to how later extreme and savage fights do it. The fire and ice spheres now explode into circles and donuts (respectively), and the sphere-merging mechanic is now asking III to deal with both shapes in sequence. Annihilation is now the boss’s big fancy attack, where you need to destroy an arcane sphere in the middle of the arena to weaken the eventual attack.

The voice cuts out when you talk about the Prime's tether orbs. I assume you said for us to soak up the damage, but wanted to make sure.

The entire dungeon is one gigantic Coil throwback, delivering an awesomely fresh experience for newcomers who never ran the content and easily delivered one of the best pieces of fanservice in the game so far. I just WISH it was a little more fun in the former half of the dungeon and maybe that it dropped loot from the Valerian pool and was part of the expert dungeon sets, but I understand why it isn't, as two allagan dungeons in expert might be a bit repetitive.

+Krystian Galicki Go into character config -> UI Settings then it should be the last option available.

does the new expansion require you to pay 50 bux ? or is that just for the new characters

1Deejay7 If you want access to any of the heavensward content i.e. jobs, races, dungeons, level 60, etc. you have to purchase the expansion.

Needs an update, since the twins and Ascian Prime are completely different now. Wish SE would stop changing old dungeons- I shouldn't have to watch a guide for a place I've been to dozens of times...

Actually, no - while gynosphinx (which seems to be more of a d&d creature and not actual mythology) may refer to specifically female sphinxes, sphinx in general is "a mythical creature with, as a minimum, the head of a human and the body of a lion." And either way, pixels don't have penises or vaginas so the original point is moot.

Even then, D&D also specifies androsphinxes. And hyracosphinxes, which are basically griffins. Etc, etc. There's nearly a chapter on sphinxes by now.

wait did she say that the tank in this visual guide is terrible. She is the tank.. mizzteq queen of awesomeness is willing to be self critical.

I hate this dungeon with a burning passion, Even with Duty Support and the changes. Instant death at full hp even when you try to avoid everything and a instant reset of the boss is not fun in my book. I have to use sprint to dodge shit because well I cannot predict the future of attacks before the floor is covered with a cone or AOE. Sometimes you still get hit even at the last second to run off the area that you will take damage on. My Character is to fat to move fast enough or predict moves sorry but I don't have a crystal ball in my inventory to gaze into the future. I am not gonna die over and over again in duty support to learn when there is too much effects going on, Its a waste of my time. I already did this once with actual players but its rather impossible with npcs.

This dungeons sucks. All this build up and I get to the final fight and the cutscenes were so fucking long that the group I was with did 90% of the fight without me. I even told them at the start that this was my first time. So much for the oh so amazing FFXIV community.

@@Art2D2 First off, obviously I was mad at the time and speaking out of frustration. Second, this was two years ago. Third, by no means was I implying that this one group was deciding the attitude of the entire community. Just saying that the community is not without it's faults, though overall I would say at this point that it is a very good community.

Have your sins been forgiven today and forever? Think about this. The God of the bible, the One True God made us to worship him, obey him, and enjoy him forever. We break His laws daily by not putting Him first, not thanking Him like we should, we lie, we lust, we have sex before marriage, we dishonor our parents, we covet things other people have, we take God's name and use it in vain, we use it in a low manner, sometimes as a cuss word, (God is holy and even His name is holy), we don't love like we should, etc. In doing so we're saying He's not a good provider, He's a liar, He's untrustworthy, He's not worthy of praise. All these things and more are counted against us. The bible says God is the just judge of the world and one day He will settle the score for all the wrong we've done. God is holy meaning He is righteous (morally perfect in thought, word, and deed) It also means He is set apart and higher than us. God being good, must punish all sin or wrong doing in the world. This means that if you sin one time God will cast you in hell for eternity. Because He is good and He doesn't turn a blind eye to sin. But there is good news. 2000 years ago Jesus the Son of God came into this world and lived a perfect life ( He never sinned once) and He died on the cross taking the wrath that we deserve and paid the penalty for the sins we committed. The bible says that if you will repent (confess and forsake your sins) and trust in what Christ did on the cross (He took the wrath of God that was meant for you and I) then all your sins will be forgiven and when you die you will be in heaven with God and all who believe for eternity. Jesus died and on the third day He rose from the grave. Get right with God today don't wait. Once you die after that comes the judgement. Hebrews 9:27 It's the most important thing you can do. You must be born again John 3:7 If you repent and trust in what Christ did on the cross it shows that you've been born again or born spiritually. Right now you're dead in your sins and you can't see the beauty of Jesus Christ but after you trust in Christ all the things you hate about God like obeying him, serving Him, loving Him and others, reading the bible, praying and going to church you will love to do those things because God changes your heart. That's how you know you have been born again and forgiven. Please think long about this and ask me any questions you have as this is the most important thing you can ever think of in your life. An eternity in hell (darkness and a lake of fire the bible describes it, with weeping and gnashing of teeth) or an eternity out of that place and into the loving arms of God who is infinitely glorious, has infinite knowledge and has infinite power to do all that He pleases. You decide. Have a great day!

Not that easy to do when recording. Near impossible, really. Pop screen and not talking directly into the mic are the most commonly used options.
