I love how Magnus envisioned himself with a new axe when he already has the most overpowered weapon in all of D&D.

If you watch closely before it cuts back to Magnus grinnig, his fantasy axe has a third smaller axe stacked right on top of the second one. And honestly, a triple-headed axe is pretty dope.

OKay I was just rolling in laughter with every frame of this animation, but I wanted to do a special shoutout to the gleam in Magnus' eyes the instant he realizes that he's got an opportunity to chop his arm off.

That was the one bit I was looking forward to animating the most from the podcast (next to Taako being disintegrated), so I had a ton of fun with that.

Skele-Taako’s extremely angry expression is priceless. Just this infuriated grouping of bones and beautiful hair.

Magnus looks like Johnny Bravo doing an Elvis cosplay, Merle is a Peanuts comic but 50 years later, and Taako just looks like the absolute diva he is and I love it

It's great how expressive these characters are, but I particularly like the little greedy flash of Magnus imagining himself decked out in sweet loot just before he decides, sure, he'll go ahead and stick his arm in the thing he JUST DESCRIBED as a deadly trap.

I love how griffin didn’t even need to mention magnus feeling the poison go through his veins before he tried cutting his arm off

@@spacetearable He's already done it for one party memeber and knows hes far and away the most qualified. Maybe the god of arm cutting will give him an arm cutting axe arm.

I never get tired of the constant ball and forth merle does about losing his arm. He's like "nuh uh I'm chopping off your arm, it's only fair!!!"

Indeed. It's like Assassin's Creed meets Tomb Of Horrors. Another good idea I've heard is something like Groundhog Day meets Tomb of Horrors. Everytime the characters die, they respawn outside but everytime they die te treasure at the end gets smaller.

It's night time where I'm at and I'm literally biting down on knuckle to be quiet. This is perfect 😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you so much! I actually play this particular TAZ Live episode for those I think would really like TAZ. I wanted to include as much as possible of that classic McElroy banter but it really did add to the animation runtime (I had to cut out and splice with Premiere quite a lot).

This live show was the WACKIEST episode ever and I loved every second 😂 you captured the chaos perfectly. Especially love the muffled discussion about chopping Magnus’ arm off while Lucas just ignores them 😂

@@GrizzlyMittz Does this not count as canon? Are the bonus episodes specifically referred to as non-canon somewhere? Or do you just mean because they're bonuses, and not part of the main story? I'm a big fan of the Halloween episode they just did, personally. But I did just listen to it not that long ago, so it's still fresh in my memory.

I meant it more as not attached to the core plot, since I can think of so many episodes that simply blew me away (especially The Eleventh Hour). I think I recalled in one of the bonus episodes Griffin mentioning they were non-canon, but that was also before the end of Balance, and he might have changed that now that the bonus episodes act as sort of a continuation. I sure hope they're canon!

@@GrizzlyMittz I thought he explicitly said all bonus episodes were canon? At some point. I don't remember where though, so I may be wrong, but they did drag in some characters from the bonus episodes into the finale so....

this whole animatic is just fucking fantastic my dude, I love literally everything about this. One of my favorite taz animatics i've seen for sure!
