    I really like the fairing. Simple, rugged, not oversize/complicated, and affordable.

    TLDR more of this stuff for WR450L. Yes please other bikes too. The crf450l is great but those of us that already have bikes like the wr450f would love to have these options too. That little wind shield gps holder thing would be particularly awesome. If you guyes keep us updated here when this stuff comes out for other bikes ill probably be ordering as soon as I see my bike pop up with this front fairing thing. He is spot on it needs to be crash proof for normal people but still nice to have a little wind protection and nav holder and a little rally style.

    I had a couple of CB500X's with quite a lot of Adventurespec kit and it was simply elegant. Not to mention strong and light. I love this stuff, nice work Dave.

    I've got the Magadan panniers and they are excellent equipment. Thank you Adventure Spec. Can I mention something about this video? ... Would have been much more enjoyable if you had inverted the amount of time looking at your mugs -- not to be confused with your coffee mugs -- I think the amount of time looking at your mugs and the amount of time looking at the equipment should have been inverted. Otherwise, keep up the good work. _

    No, but it doesn have 'damped' sprockets and very comprehensive chain guides that appear to do a very similar job and make chain snatch and noice almost invisible.

    Couldn’t agree more on the fairing issue... this bike would be perfect for a a rtw off road adv bike if the power was uncorked to its normal potential ... I’d be in . Can this be done easily ?

    I believe it can. Two parts from Honda, the throttle inlet tube and an ECU. The Australians are selling this as an upgrade kit for approx £150.00.

  • @petergoddard1960

    @petergoddard1960

    I'll second that, given the popularity and price accessibility of the 250L, having that front screen/bracket addition would be very effective for those who want to increase the practicality of the smaller bike for lightweight travel. So it would need to fit the older model and the latest, although i doubt there would be much different between the two models. I have the AS rear rack on my 250 Rally and it's a superb bit of kit. I'd even consider trading to a 250L if I could get the Screen and bracket for it!

    Grant Jackson So do I, so I’m making my own in my garage - like Greg said.. My XT225 also needs a new headlight system as well, so it’ll be incorporated. Would still like to see the AS one though. It looks simple enough, and the actual screen looks like a piece of kitchen chopping board. Les in UK Oh, meant to say, great add-ons for the CRF though. Nice Job AS!

    The CRF450L is the biggest failure/disappointment in the duel sport world since the XR650R was discontinued. how on earth did Honda think we wanted another CRF450X when they were told for decades that the world wanted a 450 duel sport/adventure capable thumper with LONG MAINTENANCE INTERVALS. the WR250R destroys this bike, except it needed to be a 450cc. All hope now rests with YAMAHA to deliver the UNICORN.

  • @jesse612

    The CRF450L is not a practical adventure bike in anyway, It seems ADVspec is only promoting the CRF450L with it's ridiculous maintenance interval is to sell there products .

  • @adventurespec

    @adventurespec

    Hmmm...or we rode the bike, loved it and then decided to make products for it to finish the bike off the way we wanted it. If we didn't believe the bike was a good long distance trail bike why would we choose to make parts for it? We could have made them for any bike. As for not being a practical adventure bike in any way...I would suggest that depends what type of adventure you want to have with it. I rode it to Africa and back over Christmas and loved every minute of the adventure, especially rooting around in the desert for unridden tracks and trails.

    adventurespec fully aware of the oil service schedule and it is easy to do almost anywhere but nobody ever mentions the valves? 1800 miles for a check, did you check yours when you did your epic ride? How were they? Looking at riding to Spain and back next year (1500 miles each way ) and Wondering what to do and how to plan if tight when checking them when I get there? Could be a hassle looking and waiting for garage time to get them done as not going to have tools with me to do them!
