However, the inflation hypixel skyblock had, was so high that people were unable to keep up and prices were increasing astronomically, to the point that the ways you could make money weren’t able to keep up with the levels of inflation we were seeing

@@unamedaccount9453 but that isn't true at all, infact the price of items will keep on going up untill eventually in theory it is as convenient to farm for an item, as it is to get it yourself. Therefore most money making methods will suddendly be much better than farming, because farming barely requires any effort.

@@therealbipe4169 only if you had a large sum of coins, if you had a lot of items your networth increased by a lot. The process of inflation might be bad, but so is the process of deflation. If the prices of all items stabilizes, all of the sudden you have a lot more opportunity to make coins than before.

FYI, macroing and f11ing are 2 categorically different things. Stop conflating them. You can collectively call them cheating if you want. F11ing was more prominent but easier for admin to dampen (basically entirely stop it once they disable pet rules on garden). On the other hand, macroing they effectively can't stop unless they increase their anticheat's quality by several magnitudes, or hire more people to macrocheck (or bring back captchas and make em bot proof).

This is an over all grate update. But I feel a little scammed because I have recently bought items thinking that that the teleport pad change would be the last update for a little bit and now all the things I have bought have absolutely dropped in price. 9/10 update because I personally feel scammed.

the deflation update lowered all scroll prices by only 90m

I hope that booster cookies finnaly get deflated in price, they went from 1.2 m to almost 8m

1.2m is like 1 or 2 yrs ago, best they can be decreased to is around 3m now

i honestly think inflation really occured when they increased the npc sell price for crops so i think they should revert it back or reduce it by half

tbh its a good idea but a way too fast change. hyper inflation was when i gained 100-200 mil networth per day just from rising items. now i already lost 1b networth the day the update game out. what's that called? ultra hyper deflation? it will be a lot more harmful to the economy than the inflation ever was

what they mean by overreaction is that they literally have the numbers of how many coins are coming into the game, they know the real inflation, but players tgoing OMG INFLATION IS AT 800% and selling and buying and investing and all that lead to a price increase much bigger than what the real inflation number the admins had

The NPC sell price only hurts ironman players. I think they should just quit modifying the game and roll back 1 month. The damage to the game has already been done. I've seen lower player numbers then EVER before, honestly, I understand players who quit, this game has just become an overinflated mess.
