Fun Fact : Adlon is the only hotel in the world that is owned by Kempinski.others are managed .

Unfortunately this is Not the case. The Adlon is owned by the Adlon Holding which is owned by the Jagdfeld Group. The only Kempinski Hotel owned by Kempinski that I know of is the Kempinski Munich

We lived in a suite in that hotel during the time when my husband was Hotel Direktor there. Was great!

Obwohl die Ticketpreise wirklich hoch sind, denken Sie daran, dass dies um etwa 7:45 Uhr in einer Galleria-Bar am Montagmorgen gefilmt wird, was wirklich hübsch ist

Haven't been in the Adlon myself, just barely out of my price range, but every time I see images or videos of its interior, it seems so small, cramped and cluttered to me. The ceiling of the Royal Suite hangs so low, my claustrophobia would kick in, and I guess a royal would only fit in their without crown. ;)

I don't think it shows that the wealthy are 'insignificant'. they are just as significant as you or me. but I do think it shows how temporary things can be. built over months/years... gone in an instant.

$25 k per night? I could used that money visiting all the Jason Bourne locations in Berlin and stay at the Westin Grand Hotel where Pamela Landy stayed. I could travel all over Germany and visit other European countries with $25k not per night in a luxurious hotel.

Berlin and much of Germany is awesome as a tourist, but the Adlon is an ugly overrated hotel. I’ve seen better interiors in 4-star Sheratons. If not for the amazing staff, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know. They genuinely need to update their interiors, especially of their rooms.

Don’t see the appeal , the interior was underwhelming. I’ve seen better Marriott…

That's the most plain looking and yet ugliest lobby I've ever seen and should serve as a joke for Germany but then Berlin is poor, so what to expect? But the room looks not bad.

The camera didn't pan up while they were in the lobby. If it did, you'd have seen a beautiful dome of gold and stained glass. It's not plain AT ALL. Watching the video I actually asked myself why they didn't show the beautiful dome.

The hotel is highly overrated. Germany cannot do luxury well.

This does not look even remotely luxurious. Hotel' s interiors need a lot of work. For a 5 star hotel the interior design looks very bland and unimaginative. Nothing looks classy. Germans don't understand luxury or high fashion unlike the French or English who have far better luxury hotels in Europe.
