That is the difference between adidas and Nike. ALMOST every Nike athlete wears Flyknit boots with some modifications except the Tiempos and the Nike Premiers. But the adidas altheletes have leather uppers on most Boots instead of Primeknit/Agility Bandage/Speedmesh.Messi being a prime example.They wear 5 y.o. boots. It is not because they love leather but because the uppers quality is not as good as Flyknit. PUMA fan speaking

Adidas has always been too narrow on me. You have to have feet like rulers to get them on. I personally think that most boots are terrible nowadays. I wish they'd just make a boot for comfort instead of making them all flash and gimmicky. Like the mercurials, yuk, and the hypervenoms.

I agree with you to some extent I feel that the boots nowadays are good and have great ideas behind them but I don't get why they don't keep it simple, like they have to add some different elements to the boot, and some special design.@@samuelshelton8042

I used to love adidas boots as a younger child. Especially predators, i wore the adipower, lz1, lz2 and the instinct. I wore the manias for a bit as well as they were my dads. I now only wear tiempos because they come the closest boot to the old predator which was the best. (Didn’t know about the wave ignitus before) Adidas has ruined all of their boots.

Are the predator 19.2 and predator 18.2 the same????? And which would u recommend

Hey Josh, quick question. Should I get the Pred 19+ turf or X 18+ turf, if you even recommend them. Not quite sure what to go for since I want to switch it up a little since i already have the X 18.1. If not, any other adidas turfs to consider? kinda locked into adidas because of a adidas giftcard.

Really weird request kinda. But fg soccer cleats are used by rugby players all over the world. But I wanted your opinion on the adidas rugby boots (sg versions) like the kakari. I think it would be an interesting video. Prodirect rugby always has sales on them.

I would recommend the puma evoPower Vigor 1, especially the graphics version looks sick and its available for 80 $. Future is mainly for adapting the fit, meaning dor weird foot shapes or kids whose feet are growing, the vigor however just fits incredibly well due to the Evoknit, you just wont slip in it.

They're OK, but aren't a top option at that price point. You can get the Future 18.1 discounted below the retail of the Future 2.2 right now.

You can definitely tell that there's a change in the softness and thickness of the material on your feet, certainly when it comes to making touches on the ball, but is it uncomfortable, no.

I didn't love the way that they fit through the forefoot and toes, but overall, I though they were solid boots. The LZ 2 was a nice improvement on that concept though.

Look at what the online retailers have in stock. If a boot is over a year old, and in stock in every colorway with almost all sizes available, it didn't sell very well.

How come the predator without any rubberize material as the trade mark

The leather part is a little wider than the normal version.

100x better than the others... Its a shame Adidas have been slowly fading to boring. Get shot of those collars and make a boot for the bedroom wall. Used to idolize the older predator wearers just for the sheer love of the boot!

Just to let you know the predators 18/19 are based of the ORIGINAL predators. The original predator had no rubber Elements. It had the bumpy lines on the front. Like the new ones do. So technically these are the closest predator remakes we have had in a long time.

Those bumpy lines were made out of rubber. The original Predator was covered in rubber elements more so than any other Pred. Every Predator until the Predator 18 had rubber elements.

I don't necessarily think that one in particular stands out as the absolute best performer, but if I had to pick a personal favorite, it would be the Mania.

Adidas boots have always been too narrow on me. I would much rather go for Umbro or Nike. Even the Adidas Cop Mundial is a bad boot. You can feel the studs sticking into the bottom of your feet when you have them on. Nike or Umbro all day long!

I don't get why 1. They stopped making proper predators 2. Why they tried to turn aces to predators when gloro's are far similar (in my opinion) 3. Please just call these fake preds, aces again and turn the gloro into a proper predator
