Yeah, but Gomes wasn't as fat as he was here. He was fat in the original comic strips, and in some of the cartoons, but I think they went a bit too far here. That and I really don't think that cgi was the best way to bring the art style to life.

That's the thing with the Addams Family. If you look past the macabre and ghoulish aspects, they're actually an idyllic family. They're not the stereotypical dysfunctional family that's become the norm for comedy nowadays. The parents love each other and their children, their children get along with each-other and despite their sibling squabbles they have a genuine care for each-other. Uncle Fester and Grandmama are just as loving and caring of their family as well. That's why the Addams Family is one of my favorite fictional families.

@@Boskov01 the only thing I would love the movie to change is Pigsley and Wednesday relationship. In the movie, they made it like Wednesday hates Pigsley and try to kill him every second. I know it's fun joke about 'showing sibling love through trying to kill eachother every second' but it end up coming out as Wednesday hating Pigsley.

I thought it was hilarious that Thing, a hand, has a foot fetish. 😂

The funniest part was where it said New Jersey 😂

For some reason I actually enjoyed it Now people question the background characters and the overexpresive animation. I believe they it on purpose the movie was about them looking different comparing to regular average people So not just actions and personalities its about they're looks as well. But as Wednesday said we are all same even if we are different and weird. Yes the animation was OK but not perfect but not cringey like the emoji movie or 3d animation nick TV shows. Overall the movie deserves a sequel the story was great
