Adams isn’t really a large part of the musical, it would break the pacing of the musical to suddenly go “hey how about we halt for a bit to make what’s essentially dis track on this guy you haven’t really heard about in this musical outside of now” at least that’s what I’ve heard as a excuse for it

Well this is a fun rap (i dont think it is) adams did so much for us and its hilarious that Lin dissed Adams for having an actual good relationship with his wife because Hamilton didnt. Adams also was the main one urging the revolution forward. Also at this time, Adams wasnt friends with Jefferson anymore, so that lyric also doesnt make sense.

John Adam’s wasn’t that good of a president, not ten or even fifteen worst, but definitely in the lower half. He wrote laws that hurt immigrants that were still feeling the effects of today, and tried to restrict free speech, and also dropped the ball so badly his own party turned against him. And as said in the musical, He and Hamilton were the only significant members of their party. You could count Pickney, but he lost twice. Imagine a modern presidential candidate so horrendously terrible that they literally doomed their entire party to never have a president again, even the democrats recovers after the civil war, it took 5 elections, but they did.
