For records sold there's no way those numbers are correct. Even Whitney Houston, Drake, The Beatles (108M records or somewherein) and they're the all-time best selling artists, didn't pull those numbers so check again on reliable sources. There's a huge difference between records and downloads. After seeing your digital sales I guess that's where you based your records off of. Digital sales = downloads DO NOT EQUAL RECORDS. Those digitals sales will be broken down into units eg for 1 album using Spotify digitals ,150 streams=1 album sold. Same will apply to digitals to determine the records sold. There's a chart of 100 best-selling artists of all time and the last place is I think Miley Cyrus and she has like 26M records and IU, 2NE1 or Bigbang aren't a part of that list yet so this is pretty inaccurate. One last thing, digitals from China are weighed differently to others cause the smaller the market the smaller the impact in it's digitals. They're pretty cheap so when translated to records they become really smol numbers :((

For people who are music sarvy records sold will mean just that, records sold and imagine I'm a fan of 2nE1 and someone asks me how many records they sold and I say 68M cause I took it from this video. It's misinformation no matter if it's just for kpop or not

Hyuna debuted 7 times (counting Re debut as a soloist), Mark is still in only 1 group, just in different sub units, even If we count them It's: NCT Dream, NCT 127, SuperM, NCT U. 4 in total. And author meant the idol who debuted the biggest amount of times, not just more than once, we would have bunch of idols on the list If that was the case, that debuted more times than Mark

Queen SOSx NCT 127, NCT Dream And NCT U are different units the members are split into since there are so many members. NCT Dream - This unit is only for teenagers meaning the members under 20. NCT 127 - This is a permanent unit. You have to participate in the songs no matter what. NCT U - This is a unit where the members change depending on the song. WayV - I really call it a unit but it’s only for Chinese Members

strong might yes however SM artists have all been successful, not one group was a commercial disappointment, if you tally everything up, sales, digital downloads, views, wins, awards, etc, SM would 100% win, even if you take SM's top 5 most successful groups, them alone could beat another company's entire group catalog
