The ACTUAL "Man in Black's" Lemat revolver from Westworld.

Ойын-сауық

I had the pleasure of working a bit on all 4 seasons of HBO's Westworld. Thought I would share the unique details of the famous Lemat conversion that Ed Harris wields on the show. Enjoy.
-Jesus existed. Even atheists admit that. But was he crazy? Or is there something bigger for you out there if you were to look into it. I pray you do! God loves you and wants a relationship with you right now right as you are... Ok watch my video now.

This is a criminally under-rated video. Thank you for taking the time to make this! It's a very thorough "behind the scenes" look at things. Very interesting how different versions of the guns get used for different scenarios, especially, or the unique holster for the Lemat. Love the details on the trips to Mexico or the Hoover Dam. It would be awesome to see a simulated "day in the life of" for an armorer, to understand the safety aspects of how the plastic vs rubber vs blank firing guns are separated - kind of a look at the mistakes made on the set of Rust but without actually referencing rust, either, just showing everyone how it is *supposed* to be done.

Frankly I wish that particular gun smith stuck with this project and went further with it. Like I can imagine if he could refine some of the features and cut down the process of reloading and all that. This modern Lemat production would be a hit. I mean common look at it. Its so cool.

Wow, I figured there was some fakery going on with that reload scene, but I wouldn't have guessed that the unscrewable shotgun barrel was part of a real conversion! That's really cool

Great video, I appreciate you taking the time to show us this! I always loved the leMat and to think of a modern cartridge conversion of it makes me geek over it hahahaha!

Very interesting. Has anyone ever done a close look at th converted Le Mat used in the old TV series, 'Johnny Ringo"? That was also an original Le Mat, converted to a break-top, I believe.

Massive fan of the show. I'm in the process of having a complete Westworld sleeve tattoo done on my left arm (currently 13 hours in) and one of the focal points on my inner forearm is going to be MiB's LeMat so this video is absolutely fascinating to me! I was toying with the idea of having the word "Timshel" engraved somewhere on the gun in the piece in keeping with MiB's story (mostly from Season 2). Could you please tell me what would be the most period correct font/position of having something engraved on the gun? Many thanks for these videos!

Thanks for reaching out! Well, many times people would engrave on the backstrap, the strip of metal between the grip pieces on the back of the handle. Along the barrel would work too- and may work better for your tattoo visually. You could google some old civil war engraved guns, or antique presentation guns to see some fonts. Just in case your'e interested, I am currently auctioning a "Westworld" screen used Lemat revolver on gun broker. A man who has the tattoo should own the real thing, haha! www.gunbroker.com/item/1024605919

Une version pour l'airsoft serait super cool. 9 coups + 1 décharge de billes pour imiter la chevrotine. Elle serait tres chère comme réplique mais elle en vaudrait le coup.

Is it frustrating to see what they did to Westworld? The first season was simply some of the best TV I've ever seen, then of course they had to put a chick in it and make her lame and gay and send the show to an early grave.
