They completely ruin matchmaking and don’t fix it for 3+ ongoing months, etc. at least it’s not clash Royale

Its much easier to see in hindsight that a brawler is too strong after millions of players have access to it than when only a couple dozen people have played it.

@@aidanmacneil3099 ok, a few things. If they were “the best dev team” they wouldn’t have a dying game to the point where they need to cashgrab that much. Clash of clans has been out 3x as long and they’re so well run and community driven that they make money without needing to cash grab. This game is going down the Royale path where the game is going to die if they don’t get more community support and players back. If they want to cash out they’re doing a great job. If they want a successful game and to return to peak performance from 4 years ago, they need to do something about the trajectory they’re on

The graph is really sus as player engagement increased thus the amount of rewards distributed will definitely increase because more engagement is more resources for the average person. So the question is how did star drops increase rewards adjusted for engagement. Their graph showed variance before the introduction of starr drops with decreasing engagement which means some part has to be attributed to engagement.

Sorting them is so hard. They need to make new options like sorting by mastery, by alphabetical order, Brawlers marked as favorites, etc.

I think an idea for Starr Drops and pins is you could maybe move common pins down to be able to get from Epic drops and remove them from Mythic, because Mythics are so much rarer that when u finally get one and its just a common pin is disappointing. But an epic is far more common and isnt as annoying to pull a common from

For the pearl hypercharge, maybe instead of the pyrolytic burning circle, after she uses the super she could send waves of cookies around her, kinda like the spike or rico gadget. I feel that would fit her character a little more 🙏

In a future update, is it a possibility that players who get star player on a losing team keep their trophies? Similar to how underdog gives you some/all of your trophies back, if you did really well but your teammates didn't, you wouldn't have to be punished?

This was a very nice session. The transparency of this dev team is amazing. 1.Some things that I have always felt is that why couldn't we choose between all brawlers from a given rarity pool in the starr road(Eg. I have been playing for 2-3 months and I really wanna play Gray but I know its gonna be like a year before I unlock it). Even if you guys keep the current system, and decided to rotate the available pool of selection seasonally, we might have a chance to unlock brawlers which were introduced later and and are very far down the starr road. 2. If we get a gadget/star power from a starr drop for a brawler and we don't have both of them unlocked, we can perhaps get a choice so that individuals can pick according to there playstyle. 3. The mythic/legendary starr drops can be very disappointing when they turn out to be pins,etc as they give no progression, instead of brawlers, coins. Felt like sharing my views as the community managers and dev team is really great in this game. (P.S - Understanding the club league system was nightmare as a beginner).

I have a suggestion for my hyper charge, the hero Stu, which is to make the hero when using the super on any hero who pushes him backwards

6:15 this point is really interesting and it's really true the feeling of having that power for a short duration is amazing!!

I love how there willing to sit down and talk with the community. It really shows how much they care. (Also I won a BS pass giveaway from the event yesterday and i haven't received it and I'm unsure where to go to ask)

About the game modes here are my sugestions: I think that ko, wipe out and bount could share a tab from Monday to Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday duels would enter the rotation of that tab. Brawl Ball could share a tab with Basket Brawl and Volley Brawl. Hot zone, heist, payload and siege (I hate it) could share a tab. Gem grab and Showdown could each have their own tab.

I really want to see when the find a team feature improves. I want to find teammates for +800 trophies but we’re stuck with randoms. I hope the devs do it asap

If there is a problem in stardrops it's that its limited 3 daily and low chances of getting something good since day one to this day 1 to this day i only got 1 legendary and it was a gadget in my opinion it would be better atleast if they add more wats to get them like from challenges brawl and free pass

I my opinion I think the most important thing that you guys need to to with Stardrops is the possibility to stack them. So that we can loot them all at once. But nice brawl talk! Keep going!

Brawl stars have an incredible way to reinvent themselves and never get old. I open the game and I know I'm going to have fun, even when i hate the update. 🤣 Hyper Charge was definitely an excellent choice. I did not like it at first, but I see that it worked out really well. But I still think they should have a usage limit. They could be 1 or 2 per match in 3x3, so the button on the screen and the icon on the brawler would disappear after use, which would leave the screen cleaner for the player, as well as giving an easy-to-understand signal to the opponent. And it should be free usage in showdown, after all it is just about caos.

They should make true gold/silver skins wearable on top of any skin you have !!! Mythic and Legendary drops really needs a buff, getting a horrible pin is so frustrating

I haven't seen such a passionate team game developer like brawl stars. Most game companies just ignore their fans feedback, brawl stars takes them into account and actually show their opinions about those feedbacks.

If your players only want to play 10 brawlers out of 70, that's a design flaw you need to address by making more fun brawlers, not build monetization around it!!

It depends on what people like and what their play style is, I really like Chester, Stu, and Gus but someone else may like Bull, Rico, and Belle. It's not a design flaw, it's just what people prefer to do

This game is so cool, i've played it my entire childhood, and I'm still not bored after all! Brawl Stars is legendary, spending a huge place in my heart, this game is perfect, the brawlers, the design of them, the backstory... and These people are making this game, just to make us happy, and have money from doing it. I suggest on starr drops if for example you collect the first star drop the chance of getting a higher star stays the same as right now but if you collect the second Star drop u the chances will increase by 1% and the third star drop by 2% so more you play and win more u get reworded and that will motivate players to get the three star drop more

Focusing on one big thing and fixing QOL things is amazing. I’ve been waiting for it for a while now honestly since it took like 2 years to release all the star powers and gadgets and pins etc etc. I’ve honestly thought we’d have already hit our cap of brawlers at around 60 but thats okay I just don’t want to be overly saturated with them… it used to be super fun when a new brawler was released but now we just expect 2 per update. I think that improving all the old mechanics, brawlers, systems balancing visuals etc is really exciting and could improve the game even more and really has excited me over the years (also no more bugs and complete mechanics ((hypercharge and a mythic gear for each brawler))

The fact you guys make these and people watch 100% of the videos are awesome to me.!

I have a idea for power leauge: If you are in bronze 1, then all brawlers are power lvl 1, if you are in mythic leauge 2 for example: All brawlers will be power level 9 regardless of what your original level was.

I think it should be raised a little higher. I feel like if u have 4.5k trophies then u prob have a couple like lvl 4s (though I don’t really know I’ve been playing for a long time and progression has changed).And only having one gear slot and no hyper charge slot in mythic doesn’t feel right

As an update for Starr drops, it would be amazing if you could choose a desired brawler, gadget or star power that you want as an option, that gives you an increased chance of getting it, if u get a brawler of that rarity or a star power or gadget. Not a guaranteed chance, but it makes players have a bit more freedom in what they want to get.

I loved this talk, it’s always nice to hear the thoughts behind the decisions made about a game we all love. Based on this, what the heck are we going to do about teaming in showdown. Personally,It’s the sole reason I don’t play that mode, also want to note that I’ve been playing this game since release and have grown with the game. It’s been a problem for years now. Keep up the talks, I wish clash Royale would do this as well. They have some explaining to do.

Also they were the first brawlers, which means that probably you have already upgraded them to the max so you might have the option to try hypercharge right away through the shop.

What if 8-bit's hyper charge would increase his range, damage and movement speed, that would be amazing. Or his turret range deal damage and make him faster or enemies cannot go inside his turret range or his turret range will have an increased buffer range that slows enemies moving towards the center or a combination of all of these

It would be amazing if game impacted the rates of epic, mythic and legendary starr drops, increasing those rates and decreasing the rates of rare and super rare Starr drops. Also idk if this is just me but I would rather get a useless gadget or Star power than a goddamn pin like every time I get a legendary (like once a month) I get some goofy pin. Other than these two changes I feel like Starr drops are kinda perfect the way they are

I think it would be more reasonable if higher fame levels made it so when you do get cosmetics from starr drops, theres a higher chance for it to be something better that way you get more valuable skins and pins but it wouldnt have to affect the game's normal progression

Great podcast like always;although I feel like even with the exclusive skins having recolors being the best decision,it also is like a slap to the face to some og players who couldn't get some exclusive skins because of the gem paywall or they were 1 gem short on getting them like Trixie Colette or witch Shelly that can't get the the chance to buy them anymore.Imo atleast seasonal and brawl pass skins that are exclusive to come back for players who played at the time of their release.37:20

i would say that they should maybe release the hypercharges for the worser brawlers in the meta right now like frank, edgar, gale. All these brawlers that need some place in the competitive meta cuz i really love playing one of these brawlers, namely edgar, and i just dont want to keep getting dunked on. if they released the hypercharges for these brawlers, it would be more enjoyable to play edgar and the others.

yeah i agree, but they also have to consider the rarity because you can't be giving all the hypercharges in an upda to mythic+ and chromatics. i think they're gonna have a few rare/super rare brawlers with each rollout just bcuz not everyone has every brawler. also edgar isnt that bad

@@karimek10 far from it, they are just not good against marksman/controllers and thus in certain game modes are outclassed, in others they stomp them. ESPECIALLY Edgar

I would love to see more button layout option, like bringing just one button to the other side, or hide the pin button Maybe even some skins or sleeves like with trading cards, I think is not a priority bur it could be a cool idea

An idea for powerleague is that there is a casual side and competitive side where the progression is on casual side and then bling is on competitive side.
