But when people respect them more than soldiers, social workers, teachers, doctors , engineers and other professionals who do real contributions to society, then it doesn't look good . Acting or performing is just a profession by which people make their livelihood. Nothing special about this profession.

She is brains with beauty... She proved it... Made a superb career in corporate life...

She was my boss in 2015 in a very big ad/digital media agency. I did ask her why she left bollywood, she told me how screwed up the industry was then, she always used to carry a few books to read between the shots and never liked to gossip with her co-stars. I think she made the right decision, at the right time. She's intelligent, smart and an educated woman.

She is real not fake like actress of Bollywood and truly an inspiration.

It’s a pity they call her flop & lost when she was everything but that. This is exactly what they do. They don’t deserve those shining hearts who don’t know how to do chaplusi but just work hard on their talent to make dreams come true. Have personally faced about 10% of this so can empathize with what she must have gone through when she didn’t know the reason of why everything was getting cut or drowned despite having put in the energy. If anything it’s good that she knew how to turn things around and focus on where she’d be celebrated not where her light would be buried. It’s too bad that they pushed her into item numbers. Truly a sickening industry. I fought for not hooping to item songs and rather picked inspirational songs but that’s not what the public likes that’s not what generates TRP so it’s all removed and drowned. It’s all rigged who is supported and who isn’t. Those that have faced the reality would not allow it to crumble them and even if so find the strength within to pick themselves up and put themselves to better use to the world. Let bollywood continue their parties and dirty business. It’s a loss for them. Honestly I didn’t know. How as kids we look up to all this & dance to songs not knowing the politics and hen see and back off. G thank you for sharing so we can know and this may inspire so many. Even though surely there’s more to human purpose than money fame this that.
