I really loved this episode. And how brilliant is Howard's comment "Actors need to walk into rooms and not need anything from anybody". Absolutely fantastic advice.

I really liked how Howard talked about the connection between the actor and the character in finding parts of yourself in them so they aren't so separate. He also talked a lot about joy and the positive aspects of the business and art.

Such a humble man... Loved the idea of remembering that you are always the hero in your story. Point of view is so crucial. Sometimes we as actors know to much about what is going on.

This was such a big deal for me, for years before I believed I had to "be" someone else entirely to be interesting, but this made me realise how to get a truthful performance by having it be a version of me instead. Thank you to all involved in this episode :)

Wow this was fantastic. I loved the example of the girl who realized she could change anything she wanted, and had the total ability to learn and grow.

What an incredible man! He is absolutely right. We do need to find a joyful place to act from, even if the work is challenging our sense of self. I always find it so crazy how most acting advice and processes are just great life lessons!
