About the romance vibes, he is actively trying to seduce her to the dark side. Goes back to what old Ben said about Anakin being seduced as well.

Anakin was seduced trying to, in his mind, save Padme, Oshas has no motivation to be seduced, she was never a Jedi, and was hardly a padawan.

Sol did NOT know until the end. They made it clear how distraught he was. A Jedi's connection to the Force has always been more about having a clear mind

The only gripe I have with this episode is that I now have to wait a whole week until I know how the story continues. Patience isn't exactly my strongest virtue. Heheh. But seriously, I enjoyed it. It is relatively rare that villains aren't just presented as the bad guys but also as people who have a story behind them that led them to who they are today. In Qimir's case I like that he doesn't really try to force her to come to his side but instead just tells her about it, essentially opening the door but leaving the decision to step through or not entirely up to Osha. So now I am extremely curious how all of this will turn out in the end. Actually I kind of hope that despite all the cristicism the show receives there will be a season two or at least some kind of follow up to it. I do not want to be done with these characters once this season has ended.

Hey ATF! Another great reaction and review vid. Qmir is literally trying to seduce Osha to the dark side. Great episode. I love Qmir. I think if he was truly a Jedi maybe Venestra was his master. Or he had an encounter with her when he left the order. The scar on his back looks like it could have been made by her light whip. Lastly, I don't think the unknown planet is Brendok. Perhaps it is uncharted by the Republic so it is unknown to them. Also note it has cortosis in the walls so good for Qmir to make his repairs to his helmet and restock his cortosis supply. Anyways, be well and see ya in the next vid. 🙂

Very nice non action episode that brings out more details to this beautiful Live Act Star Wars show. Duck/AntEater buddies are cool, Bazil's Kung-Fu moves brought nice goofy time that's always welcome in Star Wars Universe 🙂 Cortosis talk aby Qimir & many other nice scenes. Gotta restream S01E06 via D+ on weekend. I've restreamed every episode except S01E01 always on weekend after 🙂 I'll restream S01 with relaxed pace two to three weeks after S01 ends 🙂

The writers definitely had the Jedi do the witches dirty. That's why Sol is conflicted. Probably something about not letting others use the force because they could become a threat to the Jedi Order (i.e. like the Sith did).

Qimir knows it's Osha because of her tattoo, which he saw at the end of last episode. Sol know it's Mae because of how she reacted when she came out of the woods - "Where is she?" "Who?" "Your sister!" (not "Mae!"). The reason he doesn't let on that he knows in the ship is because he's trying to get a read on her headspace - notice he leaves many opportunities for her to either attack him or admit who she really is. It's why he's so disappointed that he has to stun her. Interesting parallel, as the Jedi is lying to see if someone is good, while the dark sider is using truth to try and twist someone's mind to the bad side. Still a weird episode though, because all the stuff with Basel (?) was beyond ridiculous, the Venestra-'silly stereotype of underling' stuff seemed badly written and dragged - honestly, a lot of it is still very badly written, which is why I think Manny Jacinto is running away with the show at the moment, he's making it work regardless.

@@diongreenlee4158 omg! That is such a strong possibility that it’s Venestra! That explains why she’s acting as though she knows more than she’s telling, and also explains why they showed us she had that kind of saber in the first place, great thinking!

@@TheAhsokaTanoFanGreat episode, I can't wait for the 7th flashback episode where we will learn what happened from the point of view of the Jedi 16 years ago. As for the plot, it was a good setup for the last two final episodes. The unnamed planet where Kimir was, in my opinion, may be the one used in the book by Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis because of the mines on Cortosis, as we had, I can see in the episode that there was a vein of this metal on the wall. And that shot from inside the helmet reminded me that stormtroopers can barely see anything through their helmets. And with this helmet of his from Cordosis, it is also not good to see something similar to when the younglings are training, Luke trained Obi-Wan / Sabine trained Ahsoka / Rey then with the help of the Jedi scroll taught Leia from which she also learned force heal. So that the given individual concentrates mainly on strength and senses.

I think it was her past family trauma that was the reason she quit the Jedi order. She was emotional and vulnerable so she pulled away from the force because she was probably afraid of being consumed by the dark side. She did lose her entire family, apart from her sister

It’s not romance vibes, it’s seduction. A very subtle difference. He wants someone to join him. Everyone challenges if he is really a Sith, but wouldn’t that make sense if he is searching for the Power of Two? Either Qimir is the real Acolyte and wants to challenge his Master, or he was abandoned by his Master and can’t achieve his full Sith power without an Acolyte of his own. A real plot twist would be if Master Sol was once Sith who turned from the Dark Side and abandoned Qimir before he could rightfully establish himself as the Sith heir with an apprentice. The Sith lineage and power of two is designed to eventually produce a Sith capable of exacting revenge against the Jedi. They get stronger by the Master choosing an apprentice (an Acolyte) and either the apprentice becomes strong enough to kill the Master or the Master finds a new stronger apprentice, ensuring the Sith always get stronger. What if that lineage was somehow broken for Qimir and his Master? How could he prove himself strong enough for the Sith Master title and re-establish the lineage with an apprentice of his own?

The writers don't understand Sith lore, nor do they care to understand it. His master is Vernestra. Remember the look she had when the Jedi asked who could kill so many people? They're trying to use her with Not Ezra in the same way Luke was used with Kylo and his abandonment issues. A deep twist is that the twins' mother did something to a Jedi, and Sol killed them all in revenge. Not Ezra knows this, as he was being trained by Vernestra and wanted that dark-side power, but Vernestra wouldn't let him. Who donated the love juice for horn-head lady to get pregnant in the first place?

Good review as always but what I find frustrating with this ep is that osha just witnessed 5 or 6 Jedi's being slaughtered with a few being her friends and she acts as if nothing happened and trying to get to know this savage killer and the Ep turning into something like twilight!🤦 At least we got the long awaited light saber whip! 🤣🤣

Hey, Jazmin! I found this episode to be one that mostly treaded water and barely propelled the plot. I admire your ability to parse out some contrastive parallelism between the twins' interactions with Sol and Qimir, respectively. However, everyone's motivations are so nebulous and their actions so erratic that it's difficult to care about anybody. A mystery is supposed to provide more details as it progresses but this plot deliberately conceals information! I hate that overgrown rodent and wish someone would shove him out an airlock! Lee Jung-Jae continues to deliver a masterful performance that makes me care about Sol despite knowing practically nothing about him. Manny Jacinto was excellent in his cool seduction of Osha and is easily stealing the show from Stenberg. I loved Vernestra's light-whip but she clearly knows more than she's letting on. Why was the Jedi cruiser malfunctioning? No one sabotaged it or was jamming communications. There were no environmental or celestial anomalies. It was a frustrating plot contrivance to obstruct the flow of information! Why was Manny Jacinto shown in the buff? This is the second time a dude has stripped down after Yord! I love gratuitous nudity! One of the pleasures of cinema is to ogle beautiful people. However, the woke-metoo brigade of which Headland is a proponent decry the male gaze of female nudity as objectification bordering on misogyny. Turning it around on men by providing females eye candy is a double standard that sends a hypocritical message to the audience. I wouldn't mind seeing Stenberg take a skinny dip in the lagoon with Jacinto but I'd be vilified for enjoying it! The most interesting thing about the episode is that the "unknown planet" may be Bal'Demnic from the Darth Plagueis novel which is rich in Cortosis. Plagueis' Master, Tenebrous, the Bith Sith, set up shop there and, if rumors are to be believed, David Harewood of "Homeland" has been cast as Plagueis! If true, that wouldn't undo the damage done to the lore and timeline by including Ki-Adi-Mundi but it would be a live-action acknowledgement of a Legends story and a live-action appearance by Plagueis!

Qmir is deceitful, he pretends he cares about Osha and they share common interest, Osha is not restrained so he can give the appearance that she is free, but he would kill her if she failed him, he pretends he is the friend she needs, also he wants her to be attached, why he strips naked in front of her, he kidnapped her and wants her to develop Stockholm Syndrome I don't think Sol is deceitful, he shows his emotions in front of Mae, he tells her, he's going to tell her everything, he doesn't appear to want to hide anything anymore, he has to restrain her because she killed Jedi and tried to kill him, Sol speaks to Mae as a father

Did Qimir say 'rule of two' or 'power of two'? The first is part of the Sith creed. The latter is part of what the twins' clan used to recite - 'the power of one, the power of two, the power of many'. Given we actually don't really know exactly how the clan worked, his whole "You might _call_ me a Sith" may still be valid. I'm not really trying to predict anything in this show, given how clumsy the writing/story telling has been - will see out the season, but have been massively disappointed by this project. Hope others are enjoying.

This show should have ended in 4 episodes. One thing about the animated version of Ahsoka was that I really got into her as the episodes went along. The only person strong in this series is Lee Jung-jae. His scene of anguish as it relates to the Jedi being killed is the most poignant scene in six episodes, yet he's the latest example of Disney casting great talent and wasting it away... Vernestra actress play her role as though she's constipated...7 episodes and none of the main questions has been answered.
