I’ve seen the rest of the climbing video and the person at the bottom is also attached to the string so when he jumps up all of the speed stops and he slowly goes down, he is perfectly fine other then mentally

The shark was chasing a fish. You can just see the fish swimming away in the bottom left of the screen. The shark actually turned away because of the person standing there.

I think the shark was actually chasing another, smaller fish that you can see darting past the person. The shark actually veered off when it saw the human.

The shark was never remotely interested in the guy… It was chasing a fish which you see swim past the guy in the water into the shallows, while the shark veers off when the man is in the way of its catch.
