The "Dak is weak for talking about his struggles with depression" take was really weird to me, not because it was below Skip Bayless but because it felt weird, as a Cowboys fan, to actually have fans of other teams backing us up on something. It felt good knowing that most fans do recognize it's just a game, at the end of the day.

That's one thing I won't let anyone do is talk down on Dak as a man, say what you want as a player, but Dak is an awesome guy who has helped millions of people just by showing that it's ok for grown men to be open about they're emotions. He lost literally everyone he has ever cared about and yet is still the man he is today

Oh yeah that Chris Shelton situation was crazy. As an Oakland A's fan I noticed this right away also because yeah I know Chris Shelton was on the Detroit tigers but right behind him on home runs in April was Eric Chavez of the Oakland A's. He was always hitting around 27 to 29 home runs a year but he started the season so strong and looked like he was going to actually have a career year. And Chris Shelton was obviously berserk in April of 2006 and he looked like he was just going to be the best player in the league at least in terms of home runs and it's crazy how he just fell apart so fast. Eric Chavez also fell apart that year. Despite being on pace to probably hitting at least 50 home runs or very close to it, Eric Chavez was so inconsistent afterwards that his total ended up being 21 home runs I think when he started off the season with nine if I'm not mistaken. It was a long time ago but it's just crazy how that turned out.

I bristle at the comment about last names containing “hack,” but to be fair it would have been foolish for any NFL team to draft or hire me.

It's not a bad take when you say IF a player keeps this pace up he will do such and such. The LVRJ was correct with its assessment.

I believe it was the 2016 season, but White Sox announcer and all around D-bag Hawk Harrelson was calling the Cubs-Sox series on TV. I nearly did a spit take when I heard him say, verbatim, "Kris Bryant is good, but he's no Todd Frasier." 🤣🤣🤣

A famous terrible take here in New England is from Mike Lombardi, talking up N'Keal Harry who subsequently got picked by his buddy Bill in the first round in 2019: "You take Metcalf before him, you’re an idiot." Yeah...

Seeing a lot of comments about Dak and one of the coldest takes ever was Colin Cowturd before the 2016 draft called Dak “A backup tight end in this league at best”😂 Now he’s getting MVP votes every season and is going to be the cowboys franchise record holder in nearly every QB statistic. Now THATS a cold take imo🤷‍♂️

An entire episode can be done on all the bad Mahomes takes from when he was drafted. Shannon Sharp likes to brag now about being on Mahomes’ side but he definitely wasn’t that way when he got drafted!

One problem with trying to guess if a college player will make it in the pros, is that sometimes the prognosticator doesn't know about any "issues" the player may have. Exhibit 1: DeShawn Watson. Also: 10:16 However, the key word here is "If". *If* he did indeed keep up that pace of homers, that Vegas paper would have been right. Extremely unlikely, but logically speaking - that statement isn't wrong.
