Exactly, this really shows how the people who made this despise men, the kid got mentally graped, se❌ually harassed in his mind, got beaten and battered by a wookkie... And his master shows zero concern or care about him, i hate this Andara character so much. Overall in this episode you can see how the writers have no concept of morality because while they tried to show the Jedi as evil it's the cult who acted evil for the most part, even thou the Jedi trespassed in their fortress which is not ok either. These writers are morally bankrupt there must be a lot of nasty stuff in their closets.

Torbin was there... searching for a vergence for 7 WEEKS..... And he didn't even know what they were searching for, it's relevance, what it means, anything. And Indara wanted him to find the purpose for himself? He didn't even have the foundational knowledge to even attempt to assign his actions meaning. Yet she has the balls to push back on Master Squid for giving him a mere HINT at his purpose... 7 WEEKS after they began.

Mother Aniseya has a tattoo on the center of her forehead. At the ascension ritual Mae receives a tattoo on the left side of her forehead. Osha would have received a tattoo on the right side of her forehead. This is just like the two moons moving towards each other in the shows opening credits, when they eclipse each other they will appear as one. The power of Two is when the two sisters combine at the end of the ritual to become one person (The power of one). They must face their fear of losing their individuality and become one. The power of many is the coven working together to help create these two girls in the beginning (with the help of the Vergence). Since the twins are already very well gifted with the force their combined power would make them a match for any Jedi. The Sith are interested in this power. This would also explain why Mother Aniseya is willing to let Osha go since she will refuse to become one with Mae. The chant is backwards to confuse those spying on them. It's many3-2-1. The hole is the source of the vergence. I may have put more thought into this then they did and that makes me sad.

Now that is an interesting take! Would have loved to see that exact story (told well) on my screen. It would also further help to explain why OSHA was so opposed to doing the ascension and would have justified the Jedi interfering to protect the individual girls and prevent the coven from accessing this sort of power. (OSHA automatically capitalizes, which is funny to me since clearly my autocorrect sees the name as an acronym).

I'm a Native American, Intersex woman, yet even I can see that they make a mockery of every straight, white male they reluctantly allow to even exist in the story. It's painfully obvious. And that's coming from someone who's ancestors were taken from N. America and brought to Europe to serve as you-know-whats, so I'm certainly not bias in favor of the white man. But to just paint every representative of a certain demographic in a negative light? Isn't that the EXACT thing these writers claim to be against? Sure seems like they're pursuing revenge against those who had over-representation for decades, rather than honest pursual of fair representation. Just my perspective. What do I know though? I'm just an indigenous woman and part of the LGBT community. Not like I was supposed to be the literal target audience for this horrid show, right? Wtf...

This show would have been a little better, if the witches spoke an alien language. Then we could only judge them by their actions and would have had so much less context about what’s happening. Then in episode 7 we could have gotten subtitles and see how it was harmless. This is a very dumb show, but if you’re going for bumbling colonizer Jedi causing issues for harmless native witches, then this would have helped sell that.

I really do feel bad for the actors. People don't realize how much they have to just trust. It's really hard to tell while you're filming whether or not something is going to be good. When you develop an appreciation for how silly some of the greatest shots in cinema looked to everyone on set. The combination of the post-production effects, color grading, editing, foley and score, the distance between what the actors see and what ultimately ends up in the final product is almost unrecognizable. They really don't know until something comes out whether it's going to be a banger, or incoherent nonsense. There's a lot of bad acting in this show, but if you know how to see beyond the baffling editing choices and the bad photography, to see the actual performance, some of it was decent to good and definitely deserved a better project.

So let me get this straight. The Jedi are the equivalent of FPS (Force Protective Services). They break and enter a fortress when they discover children are attuned to the Force. One of them gets a bit creepy because he wants a kid of his own to train (pretty much). In the end he saves the one he wanted to train all along (who fails in the end anyway). Make it make sense!

Really, what were the odds that the Jedi "Away Team" would even be in miles of the witch village. They could have easily have landed on the otherside of the planet without running into anyone. Even Earth's moon as a lot of real estate to cover... Except for some light saber action it was a really bad show. The Twins is like a SciFi version of the Patty Duke Show...they look alike and act alike and sometimes even talk alike... Picard did a verison of a diact twins with Dahj and Soji Asha androids... it had so many references to Matrix and even Generation Tech linked it loosely to Waco Cult siege of 1993.

Torbin gets his ass whooped by a wookie. And for this, Torbin will somehow harbor within himself a self-hatred so powerful and overwhelming that not even a 10 year long jedi-master-level meditation can save him from his desire to kill himself. And YET!! The dark side doesn't stand a chance in corrupting him. This is the most powerful jedi in Star Wars history. Hands down, no contest. Torbin is a god of the light side.

Is it just me or does Grace Randolf sound like an irate, high pitched Donald Trump? This episode was by far the worst of what we've already had! Metal detectors? Speeder bikes with what looks likes a trailer and the fact that this is practically the third episode all over again with a bit more BS! The questionable "seduction" to the Dark Side was completely un-necessary and very cringe-worthy with it's sexual connotation. Is this really what Leslye Headland thinks "seduction to the Dark Side" is? If so this just proves that not only is she weird but really hasn't got a clue what Star Wars is about! I could go on for ages speaking on what's wrong with this show but I'd be here forever and I've got stuff to do!

I can accept that using the force to turn off your enemies lightsaber during combat is not being done out of a sense of pride and honor from the jedi or sith , but if my friend got mind controlled and is attacking another person, turning their saber off would be like taking a gun from a raging toddler. All I'm trying to say is I'm willing to accept A LOT for the sake of immersion, but if nothing makes sense even within your universe that's where it becomes hard to immerse myself

I love how every single twist/plot point in this show has already been called out by reviewers as soon as the episodes release. The Acodike wanted it to seem like so many twists were happening when really its blatantly obvious what is happening, with the only confusing aspects coming from the points which arent twists and are just in fact bad writing. And also it seems that not only is Anakin not the first born from the force, but the twins arent even the first either. How does Sol know it can create life if not for seeing life being made?

Why is Squidgame Jedi hiding? The Jedi came to the planet specifically because it is full of life and they wanted to find out how the life was created. Then Squidgame finds two kids and a woman. Why not just say Hi, how are you? He is a Jedi master, he shouldn't be scared of two kids and a lady. Then why not just ring the bell on the door? Why is he breaking in? Did Squidgame red the script? Does he knows those are witches that the Jedi hunted?

I am legit worried with this "you can never be a full villain if you are a woman, gay or a minority" that woke media is embracing. Is really stupid how far they will go to forgive every horrible thing that the characters that represent them do. Good and bad people exist in all colors and sizes. If you dont learn that lesson very early you are pretty much screwed on this life.

Why aren't they capable of doing the same as the witches?

Why are the Jedi explaining this all to baby Jedi? They are 7 weeks already on the planet, even baby Jedi should know by now what they are looking for. PS: there is a game RPG that kind of have the same story, but they did a way better job making it not boring. It's called Albion. A bunch of scientists travel in a space ship to a planet that suppose to be void of any life to build some mines there to extract resources. Two scientists suppose to scout the planet with a shuttle. The shuttle crash lands on the planet, and they land in a jungle with a lot of flora and fauna, on the supposedly dead planet. The two manage to get out of the shuttle, but it explodes because the planet have a very high oxygen concentration, make the two scientists lose consciousness. They are then rescued by the local alien race.

It's clear to me now that this Jedi away team was composed of misfits and fuck-ups. It was a mundane, nothingburger of a mission in the first place. No one in command cared much about the mission, and much less wanted to do it themselves, or send their best. Who should we give it to? Master Indara/Trinity, and that dumbass Sol! Throw in lumbering Kelnacca and Indara's impetuous padawan for good measure. Done, son! And when they get the call for guidance, are they surprised at all that this subpar group of Jedi don't know what to do? Oh, it's that team...oy, they've screwed up enough, bring them back.

Love the power scaling, one Jedi Master can kick the entire coven out of the mind of another Jedi (mind you supposedly combining their powers is the witches' speciality) and accidentally kill them in the process, while a Padawan is handily dealing with all the other witches in physical combat. I wager to guess the Jedi interpretation of the Force is better than the Witches Thread interpretation lmao
