If I find a fresh hole I uncover it and open it up with a small shovel then sit in a chair in front of the hole when those little evil bastards come to seal the hole I shoot them in the face does it slow them down ? Nope but I feel better I'm gonna try your method great video

My neighbor in back of our yard tilled his & now we have all of his pocket gophers. Edit: they will just come back. It’s a war & there’s no choice they must die

I did but it didn't work well for me.

This is the only method I have not tried but I did watch a video about a year ago that a farmer used this method and never had another gopher in the field where he used the CO method. I'm worried about damaging my car. Is that a concern? I've had no luck with the "gassers", water, poison pellets, or black boxes but a lot of success with the Victor traps and GopherHawk. I stopped using the Victor traps when our lawn started to grow and I was making a bigger mess in our yard than the gopher. I love my GopherHawk traps.

Same here. I'm having great success with Gopherhawks. 116 trapped in the last month. If you'd like a good laugh, look up gopher cannon here on youtube. If only I didn't have small children playing around on my property.😂

I’m going to give it a shot. My brother is an exterminator and this is what he recommended. … but he’s my brother so I didn’t believe him lol. I’ll keep you posted.

@@ciatayagermanjenson8689 yes. It worked really well in spring. I live in hard pack clay so once the ground dries out and they stop digging it’s hard to find where they are active. It worked a lot better than the gopher hawk.

This rarely works. Metal traps in the main tunnel is the best way I’ve found. Once the gopher gets the mildest hint of fumes or exhaust it’s gone but will return.

Just use 1-flare and cut it as long as you want for whatever holes you want and bury it after you light them all, this is only for lawns, with no plants, because sulfur will kill most plants if the flare is too close to the roots, the tunnels will smell for a very long time and they will stay away, try to do at least 3 holes, if you catch it early before they destroy your lawn you will have better luck keeping them away,
