I can't wait until an app comes out for the faceless portraits! I love those but am NOT willing to make them in procreate, I've tried before and it's actually fun & relaxing but takes too much time!!!

Thank you for the Video, I have picsart but for some reason I do not have the sketch 2 effect that you are using and I can't get the one to work that is there, do you happen to have any idea why I might not have the same effect that you do? I'm using Samsung galaxy phone, I have been using pics art for years I just never used that particular effect so I'm kinda freaking out because I have a customer asking for this😞

I just checked and I had it on mine :) it's in the "sketch" effects > sketch2 effect. This is the paid pro version so many that's why it's not there. Hope this helps!

I do have the pro version, I unistalled it & reinstalled and now it is there, Thank You. My lines are no where good as yours, It could just be the picture my customer gave me 😞 But thank you for this Video I'm a new subscriber for you💖

@@gigiscustomwoodsigns5471 Awe, sorry it didn't work for your photo :( Keep in mind you there's still the editing feature where you can use your phone pencil tool to draw in additional lines as needed. I highly recommend in your checkout directions to have customers send you a minimum of 2-3 photos as not all photos will work unfortunately. Ones that are closer up work better with not too much going on in background. You can also upscale the image to see if the lines are picked up better. Best of luck!

Are these line sktch tools only avail on apple products? I dont see them on my Android or windows laptop 😢

Hi, Angel - I tried the app you’re using and can never seem to get the detail you achieve in your example. Is there something you have done to make enhance the photo or the apps ability to pick up all the tracing lines. I am just not having any good results with a variety of photos.

Hi Ellen! So some photos work better than others with this app method. I was just creating a line art drawing from a photo yesterday with the app and had one that I wasn't getting the detail I wanted on and found that removing the image background and then reuploading it to the app was really helpful for that image. Alternatively I would maybe try adding additional lines as needed in the app with a stylus tool while the image is still slightly showing (there's a way to do that in the app after you select that effect) as a last resort you would need to just take the image into procreate on an ipad and trace the photo there.

Can I use the free option of the app to use this or do I have to pay for it? Also what file type do you ask for from the customer

When you download an image from Canva it changes it from 300dpi to about 96 dpi.

I haven't had an issue with Print quality using canva so far but I personally switched to doing the background remover and downloading image to kittl since making this video as you can download in 300 dpi :)

Is this the only app that does it automatically? It works ok on people, but I was hoping it would work on animals and it barely picks any of it up.

It is definitely geared more towards photos of people and picks up more or less lines depending on the picture. I don't know of any others yet that do this with other types of photos but if I come across one I will definitely share ✨️

Can I use Piscart free version to get this effect?

I just signed up and I did the pro version and I clicked fx and it shows all kinds of choices at the bottom but the sketch one is not a choice . What am I doing wrong ?

I just checked and it's the "sketch 2" effect after you open new canvas an go into fx effects (on my phone at least) but it's possible we have different versions? We're you on desktop?

Go to ‘playback speed’ and change the settings to .75 and this will slow down the speed, allowing you to understand it better 😊

Newbie here. No offense, but you really go fast for some of us. I had to keep starting and stopping the video so I could keep up to not miss anything. I like your content but would appreciate if you talked slower so we can catch key points and don’t miss anything. Especially for those of us that aren’t familiar with these apps. Great content otherwise! Thanks for sharing it with us!

I know, it's crazy the random things that can sell. I actually made one for my a friend and she wore it yesterday... it was adorable! I can see the appeal though, with minimalism being so in right now and the custom aspect of the gift.
