Just wanna say I have been using the Hawanik for a year and a half now and it holds up fantastic. The only thing that is not great is the clear window plastic piece, it separated from the wallet and can catch when sliding cards in and out. Besides that, super solid

Great review. Maybe next time it would be great for you to get out the callipers and show the finished thickness of say the wallet, the AirTag and 8 cards. That would reveal the full truth of how minimal these designs really are.

sure wish the airtag wasnt so thick, it is really hard to hide it in any minimalist wallet really edit. Also your link to the Bellroy card pocket is to the wrong wallet :)

i like Lockcard wallet from germany the most.

Beware that the Fantom wallet is only available through Fantom in Canada and when shipped has to pass through U.S. Customs. What this means is that you will experience lengthy delivery time. I know. I ordered one and after many days of waiting, USPS tracking indicated it still remained in the hands of U.S. Customs with no projected delivery date given. Probably a nice product but I cancelled the order. Fantom should consider establishing a U.S. based fulfillment center for a more timely order execution and customer satisfaction.

I’m sick of the ridge wallet. It’s a schizo paranoid concept with zero location features. I’m open to Apple tag wallets. Watching now!

Just an update (in case anyone cares): I didn't fall in love with any of the wallets in the video. Luckily I find out that ridge sells an airtag cashtrap that replaces the original cashstrap strap. I've had it for 3 day and its SOLID! It's kinda expensive ($17.00) but I didn't want to abandon my ridge wallet investment since the wallet is otherwise great.

At least when they put the chip under your skin you won’t be able lose your credit score ration chip not need to buy a tag to find it.

With the Fantom wallet, you an lose your Airtag, which is the ultimate irony.

Theft makes these worthless. First thing they’re gonna do is dump the AirTag or the wallet altogether 🙄

I can only speak for myself but I professionally had a lot to do with stolen or lost wallets. Most of the time people take out the cash and/or credit cards and toss the wallet. As most people that have lost their wallets can relate, it’s quite exhausting to apply for countless new cards (e.g ID, Driver’s License). In this case it would be fairly handy to be able to trace your wallet.

Also just to add, the value of the air tag really is in the ability to find your lost wallet before found by someone else. It increases your chances of finding your wallet preventing theft in the first place. Oppose to not having a Air Tag at all….you won’t know where you lost it. Thus, decreasing your chances of finding your wallet and increasing the likelihood that it will be found by someone. Time is money!

I lose my wallet in my house all the time only reason I got an airtag wallet 😂 if someone’s going to steal it they will easy do the same to a regular wallet. AirTag wallets in my opinion are not built for theft but finding them when you miss place them. As I do every day.
