WOWOWOW! Have you ever heard of Nan Madol? It's my favorite place in the Pacific Islands so far (and top 10 site in the world).
Nan Madol is an ancient city built some 2,000+ years ago out of volcanic rock and sea coral on the Eastern shore of Pohnpei island in the country of Micronesia 🇫🇲 It’s something like Angkor Wat but on the middle of a remote island...
It was a place for royalty gatherings as well as the burial site for the king and queen. I honestly hadn’t heard about it until a week ago when my friend mentioned it to me in Nauru, and I am completely blown away by what I have seen here. My friend and I were we were the ONLY ones around to explore and it is just fascinating.
Have you ever heard of Nan Madol before? Add it to your list!

Parece mentira que no se hable más de este lugar!! Tenemos tanto por descubrir....
Nan Madol is like a catacomb, there used to be more tombs there actually. When Germany was occupying the islands they had many artifacts put onto ships to be exhumed in their own countries. You’re not supposed to move the tombs from Nan Madol either, it brings a bad omen. Their ships ended up sinking and never made it to their destination and the general went mad and ended up dying of an unknown illness. Really curious about all the things they put on those boats

Im half pohnpeian and it makes me happy to see the island getting recognition, I haven't had the chance to go yet because I was born in America and never got to meet that side of my family until i was 16 and it was in Kansas City where alot of them are at instead of the island. Preciate you showing love to my people though!

Great video as always, Drew. Keep producing quality content!
I'm a pohnpeian and raised there and when you ask where did they get the stone at, my mom(pohnpeian) told me that they use magic. We don't know if they did but you have to respect that place cause it's spiritual. My mom also one told me that there's this one scientist take/toke a bone from Nan mandol, the scientist died out of nowhere

Great video! I just found your video on yt while looking up information online about Nan Madol one day I plan to visit it will be beautiful experience I can imagine it already thanks again for the visual even though it doesn’t do justice it’s still an amazing sight 👌🏾 also just subscribed to your channel it’s inspiring your traveling the world visiting all the diverse countries and cultures sending you positivity on your travels
The place is remote. Those rocks that build that is nowhere near but closer to the mountain. And this is 2,000 years ago when black magic was still roaming the region. And still a bit today.
dude, this is so cool !
I am Micronesian pohnbei 🇫🇲 and I have all ways wondered what the 8th wonder was about and this makes me happy because there are not many videos about Micronesia because of how unknown the place is!
I’m really loving this new style of video - less structured and less scripted is so much better in my opinion :-)
This is truly a hidden gem!
Superb video ..I am a big follower man. ..... Love from India

We all know that micronesia & polynesia is the same roots with austronesia, Nan madol is build by saeudeleur dynasty, in sundanese tribe & javanese tribe (java island indonesia) saeudeleur/sadeuleur/sedulur means "brother" In fact this nan madol structure has resemblance with gunung padang megalithic structure that has been found in west java (home of sundanese tribe)

I never knew these exited I really want to visit
Best tattoo ever! 😃
This video makes me wanna go there.
Nice Drew.
My beautiful home ❤🇫🇲
I assume you're still nearby. I would love it if you took some time to not only visit every country in the world, but also non-self governing territories, such as Faroer, French Guyana and you shine some light on the situation in Guam and American Samoa and such. You have the platform and you might even be relatively close, being in the Pacific and all
Hi... You are really adventurous... Good job...
Stone block similar to "Gunung Padang" in Java Island Indonesia. and most Pre-Hindu-Buddha Indonesia and Malaysia temple are Pyramid shape temple. just like Marae in Polynesia, Tonga, Samoa and French Polynesia(Tahiti)

Hey Drew did you watched the spectacular fireworks in Pulwama?
Angor Wat is pretty busy, I went years ago and it was pretty extreme for the amount of people so by saying that this place is basically the same is a little confusing.

their so beautiful
The Pacific Islands were connected to a larger land mass thousands of years ago. These structures were probably built before the land mass broke apart and very-well could be remnants of structures that survived Noah's Flood, like the Sphinx and others.
Mantul om. Mantab betul
Thats cool
now i WONDER where drew binsky is going, hopefully not to be RUINED for life.
Amazing
Cool!
Thank u for visiting my country. It is sad that the world dont even know about the place of the 8th wonder of the world but its ok. We dont need more & more people in our island countries. The more visitors the more it will be disrespected. Anyways thank u so much 🙏🏽

Well, I just found the number 1 thing I want to visit
Micronesia has the same thing with the US as Marshall Islands and Palau. I’m waiting on Tuvalu.
That a nice catchphrase at the end. It’s like a goal, just like Luffy’s (from one piece) goal to be the king of the pirates.
Your videos are very gud ..bt I just wanna suggest u ...plz make long duration videos ....these are very small ...
Yesssir Proud Micronesian
