Nice video my friend! That’s the part I love about new cars, some stuff is much more accessible and you a can replace it without taking half the interior apart! Not always when it comes to engine repairs though 😂

Lol, agreed. This particular car is a real "joy" to replace the water pump. I had to pry the motor away from the subframe to have enough clearance for depth of the pump. Thanks for watching!

Nice video! My fan just stopped working yesterday. Yesterday, I ordered a replacement off of Amazon to get the ball rolling. This morning was my opportunity to check and test things. I had power at the fan, my neighbor told me to plug it in to check it one more time because the connections could get corroded. Well as soon as I turned to key back on, the blower motor started up. I cancelled my Amazon order so fingers crossed I'll be okay for a New England winter. Thanks for helping me along with your video!

LOL, yes, much easier than a Fox Body! It was almost as if an engineer said "someone might need to replace this someday" in the design phase. Probably happened on accident though.

For the fan itself... I have a 1/4" wobbly extension that I used for the "hard" one. 8mm socket. Thanks for watching!

I have a 2019 Yaris Y20 that when the fan in used there is a whistle that seems to be coming from the area where air comes up to defrost the windshield. Any idea what that could be?? I am a complete technophobe and non-mechanically minded!!!

I am not 100% familiar with the 2019 setup, but I would start by checking for anything that could have been sucked into the fan or ducting. I've had napkins, receipts, random pieces of paper, etc. make some pretty alarming noises in vehicles that I have owned. I would take a look behind your glove box, and possibly remove the blower motor and look around. Hopefully that helps get you started.... let me know if you have any additional questions.
