This is my favourite among The8's solos. The message is deep and beautiful. The film is great. Vocals are top notch. It's like a lullaby, if you don't know the meaning or don't watch this. But it's like an ode, a feeling of yearning and nostalgia for something you had or somewhere you were. Beautiful as always. ❤

I didn't know Seventeen's music until a few days ago, but their talent won me over. The magic of music is just this, no matter what your eyes or prejudice prefer, if a piece of music is touching and the artist who sings it is talented, he will be able to touch your heart in any way, sooner or later.

I love the dancing scenes, ballet alike, reflects in such a perfect way the deep, romantic and soulful emotions the song already has, it even feels intimate, as if they are connecting with each other's soul, this song is too beautiful

Hai Cheng heals me to my bones. I just find it so precious that this song gives me peace every afternoon as i lay in our doorstep and enjoy the sun. I could never get over it. I've never experienced breaking up with a partner, but I've experienced losing a loved one more than once or twice. How i wish The8 and other members could make more songs like this.

i started stanning svt few months back and I've come to listen to their discography because i'm really loving their new releases. while streaming, I listened to this song. it's ballad, yes but i don't know why but i feel like crying and my heart feels heavy by just listening to it, not understanding the lyrics. now, as i watched the mv with subtitles,, im bawling my eyes out 🤧 i really get emotional when I'm listening to this song... it never failed to make me shed tears 😹 one of my favorite solo song of an svt member ❤️

I've listened to the song before but never watched MV...I think the song is about being homesick/missing hometown and I totally resonate because I'm in a similar situation...Feeling low in my life and haven't been home/seen my family for 3+years. Oh wow, because he was singing about blocking the waves for someone, but in the end he couldn't do it, he was just standing in the water without being able to stop the constant waves - at that final moment I started tearing up 🥺 I love the fact that Minghao always makes me think. I am a baby carat. I started to listen to seventeen a few weeks ago. This is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard and clearly my favorite. Not only the melody is beautiful, the music video is too and I like how it is telling a story and duo (dance) made it more enchanting. It brings all the emotions to MV (as a whole video and music). Minghao has terrific taste. His voice suits this song so much and makes it incredible. Hope he can release similar music in future. I just want to cry and dance at the same time, but yet it brings you peace, comfort and smile. Kinda sad I didn't discover this beautiful masterpiece sooner.
