That is very kind of you Dave, the legs may ache, but the mental wellbeing it brings us old farts is worth the pain. Cheers for watching

Brill, I think Mary you need to to sort Graham on the Cumberland dialect, especially Souther Fell ha, loved the Sharp Edge video, nice to see Dave's face popping up, used to love watching Dave, an inspiration to us all. I started doing Wainwrights when I turned 64. Have done 203 Wainwrights, then Covid came, stopped us in our tracks. Have done quite a few 2 or 3 times, around 350 in total. As Mary knows, living in Carlisle is ideal. Started on Catbells, remember saying " I will never get up there", have been up 11 times . Am 78 now. Great video.

That's brilliant John. Yes Mary and many others are always pulling me up on the pronouncing of Cumbrian places. Being from Sarfend-on-Mud and as common as same... it will continue to be an issue sadly. Mary has informed me it was you that introduced her to the Fat Boys video's, for that, I will forever be in your debt.

Hell of a walk tht Graham. I was so hot doing that walk I cut my trousers off with a knife to make shorts at Dale Head tarn going the other way. Made it as far as Robinson before taking the ridge down to little town. So complete respect here to everyone 👏

Wow that sounds like a nightmare. Heat is my enemy, I get so hot often and get very fatigued. Even during colder days I'm in a tech shirt while others are in thick jackets. I have total empathy with you on getting hot but taking a knife to my expensive trousers... maybe not 🤣🤣

Newlands Round was one of my favourite walks when I completed the Wainwrights. I did a slightly different route as I was staying at the YHA at Honister, so my first fell was Dale Head then Hindscarth and I continued in an anti-clockwise direction ending on High Spy. Your video brought back some good memories - thanks, Andrew.

That's a nice route and straight out of the wonderful Honister Hause YHA, a great place to stay. I always enjoy the community atmosphere and chats at YHA's though nowadays we are lazy and book the breakfasts 🤣 Thanks for watching and keep enjoying those fells

Down to just the hard core I see and another real moody day, which I always love. Looked a real bog to get to Robinson and I have yet to be on Dale head is perfect weather, either misty of blowing a gale. You got stunning views of the Newlands Valley mind and I love the cairn at High Spy. Although maiden Moor does not have an impressive cairn it dose have a very impressive view over towards Catbells. A nice way to honour Dave and I bet that was bloody baltic lol, cheers Alan

Brilliant video x It's funny. We never thought of linking Ard Crag with Robinson before. We've always done Ard Crag with Causey Pike, Sail, and Scar. It looks a great route. Really hard though. I think we'd cut it shorter. Well done xx
