See I'd quite enjoy this. A direct flight between locations is a bit meh. I would take a longer flight with stops as they're cheaper and you can say "Yep, I stopped there" despite only being in the airport. Yeah, I'm a bit strange like that.

lifeguard2564 I have a flight from Hong Kong to Seattle in May, and I purposely chose the flight (plus it was the cheapest, so bonus!) that had a 24 stopover in Seoul. It'll be a whirlwind but I've never been to SK and I'm actually really excited to see how much I can see and experience in 24 hours! It's the ultimate solo traveler challenge!

Girl I get ya. My first flight back to Korea was 40 hours (door to door) on Christmas Eve!!! I was sooo tired! Also kick ass music! loved it!

What a crazy but kinda cool journey you had! LOVE the music/editing in this! If only your trip went as smoothly as the vid :P I thought I was saving a bunch of money having two 10-hour layovers between my home in Michigan USA and Costa Rica, but I think all the airport food I bought during those 20 hours evened it out!! And 10 is such a weird amount of time, enough to get bored but not enough to justify leaving the airport.

Wow, that's intense!!! The most stopovers we have ever had was from Singapore to Osaka, with one stop in Taiwan lol. But that was awesome you got to see KL! It's a beautiful city. To bad you didn't get to see the Batu Caves, though! If you were tired, however, might not have been a terrible thing, climbing all those steps is absolutely exhausting. My husband and I are traveling to Scotland hopefully over the summer. Might have a stopover in Dublin on the way, and we are wanting to fly out of Heathrow back to the US. Will you be in the UK during the summer? It would be amazing if we could meet up!

They gathered all of us 'transitters' in a room and these airport workers took all of our passports away from us for HOURS. Everyone was just sitting there no idea what was going on! Eventually they would bring peoples passports back individually with a new boarding pass - it was so sketchy...

that background music though is lit.

wow that's a long trip, but it looks like you had a nice time on the layover. I would have slept the whole time...you go exploring though. I guess that's backpacker reaction to the situation and why people like your channel! I'm glad you made it out of Iran and I hope you got your luggage!

how was your experience at Tehran airport? why did they take your passports? also, did you not need a transit visa fr iran? (sorry for so many questions) I've had friends from Iran who come to my country for their education and have told me that Iran is so beautiful but i have travelled to Israel so sadly I can not travel to Iran. Iran doesn't allow you to enter the country if you have travelled to Israel.

Whaat I didn't know that! I would have loved to explore Iran but you do need a visa to go in. You do not need a visa if you are just transitting (at least I didn't have one!) They took our passports to sort out our boarding passes, we have no idea why they took so long though, was so sketchy!! Not a great experience there haha

The flight may have been cheaper, but when factoring in the cost of hotel and additional food... the price wasn't as good as that. Though.. can you really put a price on hopping off the plane and enjoying such awesome places?
