pretty much what drift phonk is, Soudiere, dj smokey n holy mob type phonk is harder to make ngl. Especially when you look at how other artists like backwhen and open have changed the scene of phonk and brought their own unique sound to the table

Sample selection. I need to choose a relatively long kick and play with the volume of it until it sounds nice. Also put a fruity soft clipper on your master to make the kick hit harder. Hope that helps If you need any more help then dm me on Instagram @prod.sabre

I'm new to FL studio so sorry if this is a dumb question but why do your small cowbell notes keep playing even while there is just empty space and no notes? when I place a small note it won't play anything in the open space and just plays the note for a split second..

Lots of minor and diminished intervals basically. Just use the Locrian Super scale or diminished, it never resolves lol Phrygian too. Really any scale you'd find in Metal Subgenres like Death, Black, Thrash, etc.
