marc In my opinion I think that the route is designed for a climber who at the same time be a good time trialist its true that there are a lot of mountains and neither there are not many kilometers of time trial but many times it happens that in the time trial there are bigger differences among the favorites that at one stage of mountain that's why I think that yes on the last day first and second from the general they arrive with little difference of time between them that the one who leads is a pure climber and the one who goes second is someone who is good at time trials
