It happened to Ja Rule, it happened to Benzino, it happened to Everlast, it happened to Canibus, and it happened to MGK. And he won’t just diss you in one song, he’ll blatantly continue to diss you either directly or subliminally, adding insult to injury, just to make sure your career STAYS dead. He literally dissed Ja Rule four times(“Hailie’s Revenge”, “Hail Mary”, “Bully”, “Bump Heads”), Benzino three times(“The Sauce”, “Nail in the Coffin”, “Go To Sleep”), Everlast twice(“Quitter”, “I Remember”), and technically, he dissed MGK a total of 7 times(“Not Alike”, which was really just a warning shot, “KILLSHOT”, “Unaccommodating”, “Yah Yah”, “Zeus”, “Gnat”, and “No Regrets”). Not to mention he even destroyed Mariah Carey’s career with “The Warning”, if you think about it; the only reason why Mariah is still relevant to this day is because of her Christmas music, and a lot of people actually forget she has other hit songs. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Point being, DON’T MESS WITH THE WHITE BOY.

There is no doubt in my mind that MGK lost that whole squabble. BUT the notion that he switched genres BECAUSE of Killshot is completely wrong. He was always one foot in, one foot out. And a little research on Mgk will tell you that. We had already had multiple songs from Tickets to my downfall when killshot dropped Edit: Saying drake went too far, but not Pusha is also wild.
