Great list. A slight criticism of Dunkirk though. The movie, not the fact it’s on your list. Perhaps this is unfair, but my experience of the movie was tainted by the impression of a sense of sparseness. Which I attribute to understandable budget constraints. Another Great War flick is Zulu.
Gotra say this was maybe the shittiest list i ever seen about top war movies

@@jarskii11 Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan are the 2 greatest war movies of all time. They're great because of their realism. Nothing else comes close.

Lone Survivor was a great film....based off a BS story told by Marcus Luttrell. I look forward to the day he has to admit it was not at all accurate. 13 Hours should be put in it's place considering Lone Survivor is FICTION

Lone Survivor was sucky. I'm not even talking whether the account was accurate or not. That's a whole other story. The LS movie focussed way too much on heroism and courage. When there is no such thing in war. Survival is all that matters. Which Black Hawk Down got right.

@@DestinyAwaits19 I can not even respond to such an asinine statement!! Actually I will. No heroism in war? Is that a joke? Aside from that being a clearly dumb a$$ statement I can debunk it with - "68 Whiskey!!" Look up what that means. 2. Peter Berg made a phenomenal movie! He was one of the first film makers to make gun fire seem like "2 way range" with all the sounds and feelings of getting shot at, rather than most movies where the bad guy bullets never hit anything and make no noise as they pass. He NAILED the back and fourth banter between soldiers. Your opinion is dog poop!!
