If you work with some css and so on you´ll lough just more how common it is, and how many times you need to think about stuff like that to fix the placements on all resoulutions.

i’ve actually encountered that ad before and i kept clicking back and forth between different videos which ultimately “skipped” the ad and allowed me to watch the video i wanted to watch. so that’s my strategy to get out of ads if you ever get stuck

in browser mobile you dont get ads unless you skip or smth, and if i do i either on the homescreen by tapping lock or home buttons to exit, turn off wifi, go back to the browser, and quickly you get a buffering video and just turn on wifi. it only happens if the ad is loading, but youll be stuck in a "ohh the ad is gonna be 69 seconds long but theres no internet so im not letting you skip it huhu" so my strat is to see if the video is buffering, and if not and im running out of buffered parts to watch, i turn off the wifi, then wait for it to try and load it then turn it back on its usually a good way to shit on ads but it costed me my attention to the actual video itseld

I believe I’ve actually gotten an ad like this before. From what I remember, it was a promo for Lego Movie 2, but the ad was just the entire Lego movie but in ad form, with a little foreword from Chris Pratt himself. It was skippable, however. You can find it pretty easily, someone on Tumblr got it too.

I remember once years ago, I wanted to watch a video that was just like 1-2 minutes long & there was a half hour ad playing that I couldn’t skip, it was some documentary or something, I don’t remember much because I was ticked & it wasn’t worth sitting through so I moved on to watch something else. My memory of seeing it was sitting at the desk we had the old family PC on but I think I was using a laptop because we got rid of that thing 10 years ago so there’s no way I was using that computer, it was quite a while ago but not that long, I think it might of been after I moved out in 2013 & I must of been visiting my parents & decided to park my laptop on the desk. Pretty much, this was quite a while ago & I remember the feel of annoyance by it better than the ad itself, I don’t even remember the video I wanted to watch.

I also came across an ad that was 1 hour long but it was skippable after 5 seconds. I was shock to see an hour long ad that was about how to train your dog so I watched it until I got bored. I actually screenshotted it before to show my fren the ad but it was I think 2 years ago when I saw the ad so I can't find the screenshot anymore.

i remember that one time i watched a technoblade video and got an ad that is 13 hour long for some reason (but it was skippable, and it was probably 45K seconds or something idk i forgot)

When I was younger I got an add for the Lego Ninjago Movie Video-game and it was just act 1,2, and most of 3 for the movie, and then the showed gameplay. I don’t know if it was an incredibly long cutscene or someone put in the movie BUT I ACTUALLY WATCHED IT! Did I have anything better to do?

This is how i skip a ad close the video and open it again

To skip any ad (even unskippable ads) 1. Go to bottom right corner of ad 2. Click the “I” 3. Click stop seeing this ad 4, click yes 5. Click close

it's rounding up the numbers, like when you see 1596 you read it as 1600 for short

Now this is my worst nightmare.

I once had an ad that was unskippable, it was promoting The Lego Movie 2, it was like 2 or three lines from a song in the movie on repeat... for 12 hours

Even if all that doesn't work, you could still go in with 3rd party software and edit the cookies so it thinks you already waited through the ad.

I've gotten ads that just freeze up after finishing and it doesn't go to the video and tapping it replays the ad again and again forever.

Me: watches a video on how to survive a 10,000 foot fall with no parachute *gets this ad*

forever ago i got an ad that was literally just a dude reading the epic of gilgamesh. i don't know if he got through the entire thing because i reloaded the page, but it was upwards of three hours long
