This car got another 10-20 years before it’s a true classic so don’t worry about the recession lol

The beauty of the X is that it is so refined that it can be quick without making you feel every bit of it. Its a blessing and a curse for the fans of the older models.

What a weapon of a car this was when it first hit the scene! Remember a guy had one in my street, twat never took me out in it

I had an Evo 6 GSR back in the day, best shape in my opinion, never really liked the Evo X shape to be honest but do wish that Mitsubishi made another Evo model !

Gem of a car, love the subtle nuances they added on the interior and exterior for the FQ. I just finished my MR build today and it made 440whp, so thought that was cool lol.

A lot of cars go faster on straight line but not many handle concerns as well as EVO. Huge respect from a STi owner.

Amazing car the FQ440. I drove one a few weeks back and the faster you go the better the car feels.

I have an X fq400, looked at the 440 but was a bit disappointed, the more aggressive bodykit on the 400 and the manual just made it a better car imo but good video as usual 👌

Lovely car , I test drove one at GC motors a number of years ago after I stupidly sold my Evo X FQ 400 It had an ECO driving setting !! , Not as brutal as what my 400 was, albeit that was 5 speed manual , but lovely never the less Was over 40 grand at the time , Now have a GTR which is better in most parts , but I still think I could go round a corner quicker in the EVO

I cant understand why mitsubishi stop making great cars like this? Very nice and durable car! Mitsubishi should hire new designer!

It always slides neutral, you can control your evo under any condition, it inspires confidence, although I would be very cautious on ice and snow.

Now that is a nice car! A classic for sure, even now. Last of a dying breed.

My 2014 Evo X MR runs 340WHP and 325ftlbs. That means around 425BHP/Crank. I see how an FQ440 is lots of fun!

missing LLF content sooo much, vids were great. my mate has an evo8 fq400 running over 700whp. its absolute sacrilege to take a rare car as 180 made and violate in that way. Mam be right thats a car to be left alone and enjoyed stunning spec evo 10s have grew on me last few years.

220 hp per liter with no hybrid assistance is mind-boggling for a stock car.

i'm curious what time this car makes on the ring? such a beautiful car. there's so little details about this and fq 400. how fast is this on 0-60? 1/4

Yes, definately slipping one set of clutches. He should only drive it in Sport or Super Sport mode, otherwise it will slip.

got to love an evo and still sometimes watch the vid that Ricky did with my silver 600 hp evo 6 on here. Handling in the 10,probably on par with the Gtr,but not sure if its the video or not,but it looks a bit lathargic. Another great vid though

Gtr has the same problem, doesnt feel or seem fast from inside as its so well set up and no drama with smooth gear changes, its only when you look at the speedo you realise your doing well beyond the national speed limit. jump in a old school turbo car with no sound deadining etc it seems faster then what it really is. new cars for you set up to safe. lol

The Evo X gets a bit of a rough time from the Evo community. But I don't really know what else Mitsubishi could have done with it, It's more of an upgrade than the equivalent STI of the same era, using the same engine as before and no dual clutch gearbox option. The weight was up but again considering that it had 4WD it weighed about the same as the Focus RS MKII that was FWD.

They were £50,000 when brand new and that was considered expensive then. I know it's a rare car and I hope the values go up because I'm hoping to buy one of these. However, I don't think they're on the up just yet and I certainly don't think it's worth more than what it was when brand new. One day they will be, but at £55,000 the seller is just trying his luck, hence why it's not selling for 2 year's. I think he'd sell it at £45,000.

I'm concluded that this is fast but a bit remote compared to older EVO's. Add the auto box & it is even more disconnected to the driver. May as well get a Golf R lol
