The fears and emotions in this video are so relatable. It’s terrifying to make mistakes and grow from your experiences but to have the bravery to be so transparent about it is beyond inspiring. Thank you for sharing your experiences and the life lessons you’ve learned 💜

is it the mistakes that scare you? Or how the people around you, will respond to them? My mom always told me to not make the same mistakes as she did, but I ended up doing them anyway, since this is my journey in life. Not on purpose though, but we all make mistakes and there's nothing wrong with them. Just as long as you remember that they don't define you as a person. Just learn from them and do better next time.

@@kristinejeangranger5665 me too. I can handle it myself, I know everyone makes mistakes and I can just accept it and try to do better next time. but then the reactions of other people. That's what scares me the most. Knowing that my dad might find out and berate me. My friends might find out, and they might not want to be my friends. It's probably just our crazy brains trying to find the worst in every situation. Mistakes are actually great. We can learn from them and fix the problem. Every time we make a mistake, so long as you know it's a mistake and want to fix it, we improve even if by just a little.

This phrase is wrongly applied by most people, especially people who think that they have to act on their fears and not their abilities and awareness. Taking risks means weighing them before you take them. Not stepping in unknown territory, ignorantly. Realising the extent of your capability, by taking risks, isn’t the same as doing what scares you. If you’re scared of heights, the only life lesson you’ll learn is one that confirms what you already know, which is not to go on a ride that sky high. You will not learn something new.
And she looks ethereal here..... Heart is skipping a beat
For me, going to uni + becoming a doctor, and starting my KZread channel have definitely been great decisions! None of it is easy (it's frequently terrifying!) - but it's the fact that I'm making a difference to people and that is immensely satisfying! ❤️ P.S. I'm writing this on my journey home from a weekend hospital shift lol 😂 P.P.S. dear viewer, if you've read this far, please consider starting your KZread channel! We will all be there to support you ☺️❤️

Love how transparent you are! Feeling terrified and liberated at the same time is so relatable, I feel like that's when you know you made a good choice lol
You're not boring. Trust me.
The flashback clips gave me chills for some reason
Cursing yourself on your commute to the job you hate.. my no.1 motivation to create my own path in life.
For many years I had no motivation, sometimes I could laugh. But the energy I had as a child was long gone, my parent never let me study what I want, even my hobbies I couldn't choose. I also dind't finish school and then beeing autistic makes it also hard to find a job. But now recently I started lessons for a small motorcycly, because of the low fuel consumption. But was really surprised how much fun it was, tough as a little child I did like it as well. Because of doing that, I'm finally aware of what I really love. Instead of finishing school, I just want to study mechanics of a car or motorcycle as well. I just really love it, I shouldn't listen to people who say: Low-pay, stress and blablabla. They should focus on their life!
dogs are extremely fantastic companions
For me number 1 was starting my KZread channel (which you inspired me to do Lana!)
starting a channel in 2022 feels like running a marathon which needs a lot of tears and sweat. but although it is a long road, i can already feel it will be one of the best decisions in my life!

I studied Information Technology even though I didn't want to and finished in 2018. I lost my dad the same year. Last year I started taking a medical course, my dream field. I get the same question every once in a while, "is it not a bit late for you to study again?" and I still give the same answer: it's only late when you start regretting not taking the chance. So if you are hesitating and looking for a sign to take the risk, THIS IS IT! 🎉
This is so relatable
Your videos are so comforting and wholesome🥺🥺❤
I can relate to the part where you talk about quitting your job. I’m currently working on my transition and it’s a little scary however I have faith that things will work out. I remember feeling those feelings of anger after work, I don’t feel them anymore.
Everything that Lana said just lit the fire in me. Making decisions are never been that easy. I am so thankful for the people who shared similar experiences here on the comment section. I wish y'all the best in life!❤
Love how transparent you are Lana🤍. Making great decisions has never been easy, coming out strong is what’s most important. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
absolutely loveeeee your content🤌❤️❤️
Such a beautiful and inspiring video, starting a youtube channel has been for me the most challenging step but is teaching me so many things already! Getting a dog should be my next step :) I realised how much calm and happiness pets can bring to anyones life! Thanks for all the inspiring content Lana ❤
This Video helped me so much, thank you. I'm currently studying and have only seen videos of youtubers being glad not going to university or quitting their job which I find fascinating but at the same time I then felt a little unsure about my studies cuz its very time consuming and I'd love to try other things out at the same time (even tho I love my subject). But I do think it'll help me grow in other ways. Then seeing the last part about your dog got me teary eyed as I have a dog myself and I say the same. She's the best thing that happened to me and gives me so much joy. She taught me a lot about living, responsibilities and things about myself without knowing she did. Thanks again, this video gave me more confidence and certainty.
This hit me so hard I started crying, Rn I'm living abroad and I could relate to every word you said aswell Im 21 so I feel all the video like you are talking to me. Awesome video ty for sharing this.
This is so beautiful, Lana. ❤ Your decisions weren't at all easy to make, and they were scary at the time...but they were so well worth it and have shaped you into the wonderful person that you are today. I'm very glad that you got to grow and learn so much from the experiences!
Awesome video, Lana, as usual! You are wise beyond your years! Keep kicking fear in the face and being successful!
Some good wise words here about going for your dreams and overcoming fear.👍😃
This was so beautifully edited and inspired me to think about what the best decisions in my life have been so far, and whether there are any commonalities in the thought processes behind making these decisions
I have found your podcasts and I love it 🥺
Beautiful closing🌍❤️
Your voice is so calming
This video hit me like a wonderful dream, it exudes that particular clear-but-blurry-vibe and when it’s over, it makes you feel soothed. Just like a dream.
Your hair looks gorgeous!
Hello Lana!! I do not think you’re boring! You’re definitely relatable, specially to us introverts. The many changes you’ve recently had in you’re life, cause you to have this low energy demeanor, but you will get through this! Even introverts have a light that shines through when we’re calm. Don’t let people who do not belong in this channel ever put you down! Keep pushing through. Keep posting. I’m watching and I enjoy it!
"Let the beauty we seek be what we do" ~ Rumi ❤ Beautiful video!
wow, your hair looks great!
Stay cool!! You gat all it takes to be happier!!
Your videos are like honey to the soul ❤ Sending so much love right back to you!!
Great vid, you’ve come a long way. Well done you 👏🏾
Thanks for sharing. Decision making is so powerful.
you aren't boring you comforts and relaxes me by your pleasant voice and calm during so stressful and challenging step of my life.
Thanks for sharing your experience
Tomorrow I will start my first day on my ANOTHER new job. I don’t know why but I don’t feel that existed tbh. I have this plan to focus on my self and I’m so not ready for this new job. Deep inside I’m not ready but the people around me keep saying that I should try and keep going. I will see and then I will choose myself first.
You talk about Fred passionately that I am tearing up because I can literally feel the love. Yes, iy may sound dramatic cuz it is but I said it few times and I'll say it again. That baby is so blessed to be in your arms, Lana.
Your hair is divine! I couldnt even focus on what you were saying, it's so fluffy
Once more Lana. I am so grateful i met your channel. Your videos are so inspiring. And guiding as well. I once left a very critical call at work to watch your video (to be fair i needed a break) You’re a person i look up to you. And strive to be like you. Please continue with the awesome content. Literally best channel on KZread. And i am very certain you’re a great person to those around you! You always remind me. I am young and still learning how to navigate life properly. And i still have time.
Love how transparent you are. Do wat you love always...
Hey Lana! Sometimes videos help illuminate stuff outside the video... as a good book will transport you. Well, this video had an illuminatory value for me. Thank you for sharing that!
all it takes is dat leap of faith!!!!
This video really touched me Lana❤️ I can totally see myself in everything you said. I have tried so many jobs and non of those jobs where meant to be for me - because I didn't Care. I just wanted to be alone and work alone. I only said yes to the jobs because I 'had to' - Until now where I am being brave enough to go my own direction and I have to believe that everything will be fine. Even though I can't live from my dream job yet, I am feeling better than ever because I made the best decision for myself ☺️🌷
The fact that you carefully thought about when to get a dog is the best part of this video for me. It’s something I always stress about. I live in srilanka and a lot of people leave their pets behind when the opportunity to move to another country comes along. It breaks my heart.
that subtle humorous lines also subtly make this video a lot interesting hahaha. Thank you Lana!
Your video are just so unique!
I pray we will all be heal 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for sharing your beautiful experiences and impressions. You have a wise soul that is awaken at a young age, usually these introspections ans self analysis come around middle age.. Thank you again!
Binge watching your channel this morning from SoCal!
You're so sweet despite having a rough start
Just listening to your voice is like a meditation session for me, you should really consider being one of the voices in apps like headspace or calm.
I can so relate to that feeling of both terrified and liberated after quitting a job you know you’re miserable in and not creatively flourishing in! Cursing on your way to work in the morning 😂 that’s how you know it’s time to get out
Hi Lana I'm a trying ti clear my Medical college entrance exam and really messing it up and my life!! Ever since I found your channel what to say, I'm trying to change and move to right direction or something like that you get it. Thank You so much for what you are doing :)

Brava, Lana. Very inspiring, as always. ❤ 🙏
thank you Lana I very much enjoy watching your KZread channel you help me feel calm and relaxed thank you for changing my life for the batterr love from Ireland ♥️
Never put any comment before but now, let me tell you I'm happy that you made that decision: to sitting up there and sharing your thoughts, your glimpse of life, and Fred. I love Swedia, somehow i'm happy to know that you're sweden, and also.. UCLA is great! Hope u nothing but the best of life. From Indonesia with Love

Your videos are so relatable, love from India!
I also got a dog this year cause I was feeling a bit depressed and it really changed my life, I love my bby so much and she’s always by my side. Best decision ever
hello sweden. It's nice to see you again. I like the old footage there. :D
Love your new hairdo!
You have a great mind; your speaking ability is so much better than the majority on KZread…your storytelling is excellent…Fred is sweet too!
The fear emotions in this video is really relatable
I adore you so much🥺

Keep making content, Lana, you're an inspiration. I'm doing homework at the moment and I'm listening to your podcast-I'm taking a break from Joe Rogan, lol. It's good stuff and you have a voice for it.
omg she inspires me
"Dogs may not understand english, but they do understand love" I relate to this SO FRICKIN MUCH!
So inspiring
You are a great woman, you make your own decisions, including a genius like you, a genius. Thank you for helping us make decisions, and anything else. Thank you very much.
i can relate to you about the last part. having a pet is amazing. i also had a cat, and i adored her too much to even comprehend it into words. i walked her out every morning, sat beside her when she ate or slept and talked to her as everyone around me would judge me (my cat also didn't care that much because cats are like that, but i loved talking to her though. animals are beautiful.) but because of some family problems, i had to give her away. i wanted to give her and the little kittens to a friend but things took a wrong turn and she's somewhere i don't where. and it hurts too much. it's almost been two years without her, and i don't know where she is, how she's doing or if she's even... i don't want to think about it. but i hope this hurt gets healed, and i can think about her without getting so damn sad.
Thank you a lot. My motivation ❤️❤️
This is so beautiful
I absolutely love your hair Lana!! Also, thank you for releasing this. I just started uni thinking I would be going into psychology my whole life, but I decided to switch into sexology for my next semester (kinda similar, kinda not). It's scary considering I'm a very indecisive person so I'm scared I'll regret it, but life is all about making decisions according to what feels right. I also really want to get a dog once I graduate!!! I can't wait to be a dog mom too 😭
The fears and emotion here is relatable
love this

Thank you so much Lana. You've been so brave, all those decisions must've been so hard to make. But here you are, being such a successful content creator! that is so inspiring. Basically, your video arrives at the perfect moment in my life. I'm currently so stuck in what I do and so unfulfilled with my everyday life, so you and your words feel like a powerful breeze that pushes me towards making the right decisions and choosing my joy over any other thing. btw, I'm reading the other comments and we all share the same feeling we can easily relate to your words which make us rethink many aspects of our current lives. LOVE IT! KEEP DOING 😚😘🥰😍🤩
This video is the perfect definition of quality content. I felt so inspired and also you made me think of the decisions I’ve made in order to improve my live. On 0:11 you say one of your best decisions was to go to university, in my case I am grateful with having had the chance to study what I like (Translation and Interpreting) but I feel happier about the university lifestyle rather than the academic plan and organization of my degree. On 6:58 you mention having a dog, in my case, I have a cat and it is true that, as pets, they make you feel loved and proud about them. I really enjoyed watching your video, so you have a new follower 😉

Thanks for sharing these moments, Lana. These days it seems that the only way forward seems to be quiting your dayjob. Everyone seems to get anxiety when it comes to their jobs and it's just weird. And this channel also shows that with perseverance, you can accomplish great things, just by being yourself. I love your calming videos, especially since most KZreadrs think you need high energy on camera to grow.
