Good ol Fitzgerald junky built engines.they are thrown together with what ever parts they have and use all pai internal parts. I’ve worked on a lot of the trucks they built and idk how the engines even run. The last 389 I did with a 60 series done the same thing but on the driver side. After removing the head found the head bolt holes all had metal shavings in the holes from counter bores or block surfacing and head bolts were not torquing all the way down.that truck had 342k miles on it at that time.yall keep up the good work God bless

If you get the coil higher than cab , the ideal is 0 or as close to that as possible so it doesn’t have one directional receiving is best , especially with a kicker , a ground wire to the frame will do away with picking up static.

I know your hunting for horse power . Know this there’s swept volume and non swept volume . Turning up power cam changes . Fuel volume and air from bigger turbos . An increase in cylinder volume is required . Other wise head gaskets will eventually push out from between block and head ..larger dish in top of . The extra fuel and air will raise up the compression lost to larger pocket or dish in piston . piston to drop compression is what we have to do .the gasket told its story of a tighter squeeze . Not tellin u what to do just info on why !have a good one , 389 ,Fitzgerald looks good !

the copper spray on sealer is good stuff. That's what I used on the 1985 Ford F150 4.9l inline six 300 cid. I used it on the combination manifolds (intake and exhaust mount together). I tried the Indianhead Copper Sealer in the bottle on my Ford Granada 250cid 4.1l inline six head gasket. I don't know how well it sealed. When I pull the head again, I'll probably used the spray next time. Both the Classic and the 389 sounds good. y'all stay safe out there. much love and respect brother

That’s true it’s most of the time tuned for 10 meters not 11 meters and at the wattage of a connex 33hp average 3 watt dead key swing 45 50 watts it will have better modulation with a higher swr round 1.5 swr is my suggestion due to it on a modulation meter and you will have 300% modulation and better peak output I personally run a adjustable antenna match inline but it doesn’t make a lot of difference bare footed I’m normally swinging around 1000 watts myself been doing this for years so not I was born in 1979 cd were a big deal back then I have $10,000 in my system lol anyways brother I hope all is well with you and yours I really appreciate you sharing your life with us love this channel never miss a video brother god bless you and yours Jeremy Trent Greenville Tn

You could check the coax with a dummy load on the antenna end and use the MFJ to test the coax.. A Wison 1000 truck Antenna should tune with out cutting unless the the whip has ben replaced.. They are legendary. I had one. 29,000 hrs on the engine and the truck was shot. Pulled the engine to rebuild it and it went in a glider. Only done to the engine was rod and main bearings at a little over 500k to get the extended warranty
