Mike finish Smokey and get it show ready! You still have to figure out what your doing with Stubby( stretch) ? You have Low n Slow to finish up! From that to Kenny! Are you seeing the trend here? Best to button up/ finish the current projects, Then dive into your most time and costly to restore the 359! I know its hard to not bounce from one to the other. But I want to see you make good decisions with your babies! You adopted all of them and I want to see them all saved too!!! But you only have little time and money to do it!! Your Dad is still there to invest you with wisdom & Knowledge! I cant make you drink but I refuse to drown you to do the right thing!! I love all your projects and your Dad! You have a great channel, that keeps my interest! Plus your one of the few that has space to preserve trucks! Do what you must or think is best I will continue to Watch you be a TRUCK NUT!

You can get a fibreglass roof cap ( like twin sticks did no his ) and you can get most panels , great looking truck needs to be saved and the sleeper put back on it and if you can get a rear newer cut off that would be a massive help , keep up the great work Mike and your dad 😊

I love the Old 359 it needs to be fixed up I think that they make a roof cap in fiberglass to replace the metal Cap I would love to see you get it up and going you just don't see them much anymore love the Chanel and love what you do keep up the good work brother

Mike, Some projects are more of a marathon rather than a sprint. This is one of those projects. I have been amazed by your persistence on your projects. Slow and steady wins the race. It just takes time and money. The more you have of one, the less it takes of the other. I have learned that on my own 1990 362 project. I enjoy watching you and your Dad. Keep the videos coming.

First get the runaway problem fixed. Then gut the cab and get the leak fixed. Next go back to Smokey and get it running and driving. Go back to the 359 and get the diff problem sorted after that get K2 running and driving. All you'll have left is the fun part of restoring trucks and they'll be easy to get in and out of your garage without using Dad's backhoe.

Good morning Mike. Mike if you read this facts is yes it's a ton of work, take it one bite at a time, you have overhauled one engine you can do this one, pull the axles out of K2 if they fit, gut the cab and stand by to do some serious restoration work but how many restored 359's do ya see motoring around and if you put a sleeper on it..........................😁

Mike I think u need to read this A diesel runaway has a few different causes. Oil in the intake is the most common issue, while fuel-contaminated air and a stuck accelerator pedal are less frequent causes. Older diesel engines with manual fuel pumps have their own problem where the pump fails and supply the engine with endless fuel, causing runaway.

Mike, at least clean out the cab for now and take inventory of what you've got, issues etc. Like you said, she's over 45 years old. It, like K2 will take time. Seal them up for the winters etc. Till you get to them. With your dads help, you two can do it! Btw, Don't forget to finish the interior of the cab on low&slow and replace the rear deck, someday. And take low&slow and Kenny out for a "rip", from time to time. Keep on Truckin Mike

Mike, if you are not familiar with Bubbles 8V92, give him a thorough check out. As for the crocodile tears and hand wringing over an almost complete 359 for $500… Get real. That’s what Canadian winters are for. And if you get right to work now, you will have all the extra help from the sand fleas and mosquitoes. All your trucks start out as junkers. Any truck I get starts out as a junker. That’s just the nature of the business. Get to work. Take care. And remember, we’re having fun! 0:02

Not trying to be a negative nancy but this is way beyond reasonable fix and come out money anywhere close to the amount going in to a money pit. I really has been off of the road tooooooo long. If you think its uncomfortable to put on a wet boot, that has water where water never should ever get. It translates to nothing but money and more money. Someone out there is doing this rig and needs those parts to make another much better rig get going.. And I do feel bad for a poor man trying on something like this. Since Tim Gentry shund you at the truck show, I quit watching him.... bad blood and all click bait headings to get money for a kind of welfare, feel sorry for me thing in my mind. Yes the trucking industry is in horrible shape and will not recover till our governments get their hands out of our pockets. We just can't keep passing the buck anymore. Times are tuff out there and that trickles down to everyone sooner or later.

What to do with K2? simply put “Fix K2” there are a few trucks that you should not sell or part with on this channel Kenny, Low and slow and last but not least K2 and by extension of your father Stubby everything else can be up for sale “this is my opinion not telling you what to do” but there are people like myself that has been waiting to see you fix up k2 only to see you buy three more trucks and start fixing two of them completing one and nearing completion of the other before K2,Mike the longest journey starts with the first step Fix K2
