The 30th Anniversary of The Children Act 1989 - Is it still fit for purpose?
In 1989, The Children Act made the child's welfare the courts 'paramount' concern. Has the Act done right by children since then and has it adapted?

The Children Act 1989 embodied a change in philosophy by making the child’s welfare the courts ‘paramount’ concern, moving away from the concept of parental rights towards the right of the child. It embraced the idea of shared parental rights and responsibilities and that children are best cared for within their families but not at the expense of suffering avoidable significant harm.
Has the Act done right by children since 1989? Has it adapted to the challenges of childhood and society?

I also want to know why a guardian working on the local authorities behalf can directly go to a judge even before a care order or anything is put into place is this correct or is this wrong
Men make better parents its a FACT, the only reason this law came into place is because they know its easier to manipulate someone going through traumatic times, and men make much better workers than woman. This law HAS TO BE CHANGED.
