Shaq would absolutely shred teams nowadays.

Doesn`t mean a lot especially in NBA terms where you have vets and bucks. Jokic is more then 2 years older then him... He`s going to have to guard him. Embiid is more then 2 years older then him. He`s going to have to guard him... This is why some of use have been saying lets slow down. He`s a wonderful prospect but lets give him enough rope to have some flaws. If a 300 pound guy with good footwork and touch around the rim is 100% committed to running to the low block and putting his back on you... Some of us who played at that level have been saying this for a long time. As entertaining as the 3 point shot has made the game, its caused post defense and post offense to be a forgotten art and modern bigs have no stomach for working on the low block. Jokic right now is exposing this every night. Part of the reason Budz got fired in Milwaukee is because he consistently failed to get Giannis the ball in positions where he was catching with an advantage AKA on the block. The league is trending back to a more balanced type of play that means Victor is going to come into a league in which he`s going to have to bang bodies with older more solidly built guys. Does he have the stomach for it? Can his body hold up with that frame? Can he add 50 or 60 more pounds without his structure being compromised?

Kenny is the exact type that is a good basketball player....but not a fit for the NBA. He mentioned Jahlil Okafor in the vid....Okafor could probably get you 20-25 points a night if you ran your whole offense through him. But that doesn't fit the NBA playstyle in the modern era. And especially guys that play back to the basket but don't offer anything on defense, they just don't fit in the NBA anymore. Yet in a vacuum these guys are good basketball players, just not set up for what the NBA playstyle is anymore. Theres nothing wrong with having a good career overseas though.

The very first time I heard of his name, I wondered if he is the son of Kenny Lofton, the shortstop from the Cleveland Indians (I had a poster of him on my wall in the 90s). I think him and Kai Sotto should have been drafted. Kai has already played against Wemby and Boban M. on the international stage and did better than Chet when he played Victor.

Charles Barkley could jump out of the gym. Lofton could have a decent career as a good role player -- he's plenty massive enough to bully skinny centers. Not really working against Jokic or Embiid. And he's going to have trouble guarding fast, athletic power forwards. Closet player to Barkley is Zion. But Charles had a great career with few injuries. We can't say that about Zion so far. I've never seen Zion rebound the way that Barkley could but Zion is amazingly explosive when healthy.
