Hey, I'm the one who should be upset here. My son took the pom pom headphones on a plane (in public!!) this week.

Lachlan dropped the ball on this one. Amir at ASR loved the unicorn phone and described it as "the best thing I've had on my desk since the Topping DX3." and "as good as the Dan Clark Corino, but hornier".

Sorry this is an off topic question but. I just got in the mail my burson vivid 7's. Do they need any amount of break in time to sound there best? Thanks for your help and all your great content

I just got my V7 Vivids as well for my Conductor GT. Plugged all 6 in. Wasn't easy. Pins do not line up easily like the V6. I let them heat up for 2 hrs and started listening to my favorite demo tracks on my Hifiman HE1000SE. Holy fk balls! It's like a completely different amp and headphones. I thought it would be subtle. Subtle is not what I instantly heard. It's a huge upgrade in every way! Vivid and just stunning is what I'm hearing. I didn't think it could get much better. Boy was I wrong. I've let them burn in for 3 days now. I'm not detecting any major change from day 1. They are incredible out of the box. Best $400 I've spent in a long time. V7 Pro for the win! 😃

The V7s don't need any burn in as such - they sound great straight from the box, but there is a chance they could improve slightly with use. So glad.youre loving them, Clint! They're a big upgrade over the V6s.

I think they were actually broken. My son is loving the pom pom pair that are basically identical and he's very upset with me that the unicorn ones aren't working. 😂

If you use different rig please provide some reference curve to compare for that rig. Like good headphone should follow this line. Your measurements are not useful if one don't know how to read it.

I'm sure you are doing a great job reviewing stuff. Don't listen to those types, KZread is full of people like that, if it wasn't for channels like this I'd uninstall it from all my devices. 🙂
